Game sighed, looking at, what was now his perfect craft. It had taken sweat, tears, robotic sweat, and a lot of motor grease to get this finished, and it looked beautiful. It was only natural for him to want to celebrate. Which is why he had organized a party. The council just thought it was an odd holiday for the humans, that was half true. It was December, the year humans would celebrate a number of holidays. But he wasn't sure anyone besides him had actually bought a present for someone. He looked in his mirror, noticing how his hair now fell down onto his back, and the white streak had spread to most of the right side of the head. "God..." he murmured in exasperation. He hated that dash of silver in his hair. It seemed so awkward so strange, but really he shouldn't feel so strange. He had the power of telekinesis, was one of the only humans in the universe, and just happened to have brown and white hair.

For all the world, he looked strange. Especially know. Wearing skinny jeans, which he usually never wore, and a dinner jacket. Something he often used as a towel. His aunt and uncle had been big on the principle of 'dress to impress', and the result were these clothes. It was one of the reasons he preferred to run around in his underwear. It saved him some embarrassment, but not enough. He turned away from the mirror with a sigh, disgusted at what his aunt and uncle had made him into. He stepped out of his room, surprised at the transformation of his home. Instead of it's familiar wall paperless halls, dull carpeting and lifeless air, he found himself walking into a world that smelled of gorgeous cherry blossoms, and streamers continually falling from the sky. They were holograms of course, but made the festive image all the most amazing.

The walls displayed various images of happiness. From a type of food that resembled cake, to a party full of aliens. Game looked at them with disdain. There was no escaping the fact that they were outsiders. Nothing would ever be the same like it was on Earth. Maybe... Just maybe he would be able to go back to earth on the spaceship. But he knew that was impossible, he had measured the amount of fuel they had collected, they could barely motor across this galaxy without having to drift half-way. As he marched through the halls he felt like he was walking to the stockades or a guillotine. Preparing to have his head removed from his body. He wasn't all that keen on a party for his completion of the spaceship, it was only the beginning of the pain and sorrow that would come tomorrow. When all of the humans realized that some of them wouldn't be coming back.

In his mind, he went over every single human that he thought might have a chance of surviving. Yang... Me... Cezar... Xeda... There was more, but he didn't want to think about it. He couldn't get the image of them dying out of his head. His own death was the most gruesome. He often woke from 'sleep' shaking, shivering, wishing that he would die just to get it over with. He stepped on the platform that would raise him to the roof of the apartments. It had the similar design of an elevator, but it was more pod shaped, and gave him a view of everything they passed. It was definitely faster, and didn't give him a dizzy feeling. Scenes of the layers of the apartments passed by. He had to say, the aliens had worked extremely hard to fixing the place up, especially on such short notice. He was heading to the roof, straightening the bow tie that almost choked him. He couldn't help but think of what a monkey he looked like. Attempting to be someone he wasn't.

The roof unleashed itself upon him amazingly fast. In front of him, stood what looked like a ballroom, or a ballroom crossed with a bio-dome. The roof of the building was contained in a sort of force-field like structure that allowed no one to see into it from the outside, or to get into it without taking the 'elevator'. He kind of liked the privacy, even though it made him feel like those rich losers that lived above his head. The roof had been totally transformed. The floor was tiled with steel, and a long table lined half of the room, the roof was surprisingly large and the table was just as large as the halls of the apartment. It was supposed to be able to house every single human that now lived in the apartments. The aliens had attempted to apply every single pleasantry they could find. Food, alien food, drinks, alien drinks. They had tried their best to replicate 'Coca Cola', and were serving it, strangely enough, in a fish bowl sized container that had a spout jutting out from it's center. There was a dance floor as well, an elevated platform on the center of the roof, above it were four hanging monitors that showed music videos of alien artists with the music booming.

There was no D.J. no drink server, no chaperons. Anything goes, was the term Game used to describe it. For some reason the aliens didn't want anything to do with this... Party. In fact they had in a sense, tried to dismiss it, giving the humans whatever they wanted. Freedom. He looked at the long dining table, looking at the assortment of knives and silverware that were placed on an ivory dining cloth. Backless stools were placed all along the tables. He really regretted even introducing the idea of a party. It seemed like he had been drunk when he asked for it, drunk off of the happiness of his achievement. But he wasn't the spokesperson for all humans. Maybe he should have just kept his mouth shut. None of them were probably going to come, a peaceful one man party... "Oddly poetic." he murmured uncharacteristically.

Shuffling his feet as he walked, he parked himself at the head of the table, drumming his fingers against it. Odd that he was the first one to show up, or maybe... He would be the only one to show up. As if suddenly remembering something, he dug quickly into his pockets, pulling out a box of a steel gray color that looked like a normal cube. He laid it out on the table, smiling at the red ribbon and tag on it. If only aliens had invented wrapping paper. And then he frowned, looking past the cube he saw what looked like twenty or thirty bottled all in a single basket in the center of the table. The smell of alcohol drifted into his nostrils and he was shocked, what kind of beverage was that? He looked at the plaque on the edge, 'A Gift From the Council'.

OOC: Party~ YEAH RIGHT? Game doesn't think so... >> Dweeb. Anyway. Since obviously this party thing is going to be a big topic, you can post in any apartment and start a thread. Just put he PARTY thing on it so we know it has something to do with the party.

BONUS MISSION- Happy Holidays~ <3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: BONUS MISSION- Happy Holidays~ <3   BONUS MISSION- Happy Holidays~ <3 EmptyFri Sep 10, 2010 8:04 pm

Adailia walked briskly down the halls, her shoulders slightly hunched. What was she even doing? She was on her way up to Game's party. His aura had been such a bright blue, it had almost blinded her, when he'd announced the whole thing. It made her feel happy too, knowing her friends were excited about finally being able to do something about Len again. It'd been.... What? Two months now? Three? It was too hard to keep track here.

It was a little hard to believe, that she used to enjoy going to these social gatherings back on Earth when she was like, nine or ten. She'd even been popular, been girly and nice and only slightly tom-boyish and freak-like. That was until her parents got into a little disagreement. Separation. Divorce. Custody wars. Running away had never seemed like a viable option until then. And then she'd welcomed it, embraced it, hidden away until all her nice clothes were torn into rags by the straggly low-growing limbs she slept beneath. Her soft muscles had grown hard with physical labor, eyes colder and more accurate as the 'real' world zoomed into focus. After they'd found her she'd rebelled against them, pretty much forcing her dad to forget about her and making her mom go crazy and complain about what a brat she was. Another escape attempt. This one much better planned out. She'd crawled onto a shuttle to Sigma just after packing what little things she desired: A few old CDs, a poster of her favorite band, and some old clothes. Little relics of her old life.

She paused just outside the elevator, eyes narrowing. Why was she reliving the past? To pity herself? Oh, please. She'd done enough of that after the first failed attempt at rescuing Len. Didn't feel like replaying that episode.

Adailia again paused just before stepping onto the contraption that would lead her to the roof, looking down at her outfit and grimacing. She'd wanted to look nice. It was a party, after all. And all her friends would be there. This shouldn't bother her. But it was just.... Too feminine for her tastes. Everyone was going to stare.... She shook her head, seeing the vibrant red of irritated determination flare out around her from the movement. What did she care? Besides the fact that you look like you've stolen Project Runway's designs and mutilated them, nothing. she grumbled silently, taking in every curve and sweeping motion the silky fabric made against her skin. .... No she hadn't watched that. Willingly. Her mom had forced her to.

The totally feminine outfit was not a dress, as many would think upon her reaction. A black, layered top made her skin look like waxy cream-colored rose petals, tinted slightly in the places where the blood rushed by faster. The neckline plunged into a deep V, exposing a little more than she'd like of her body. Even now she reached up and tugged at it, pulling the fabric up to that it was around an inch below her collar bone. The top-she refused to call it a blouse-was tight, conforming to every curve and dip on her form that baggy t-shirts normally covered up. The sleeves hid a small fraction of her shoulders, making her arms endlessly long and spindly. Her hair was loose and free, flowing out in chestnut waves and pooling on her shoulders.
Tight bell-bottom jeans only completed and made her look ever more feminine, the denim stretched tightly over her long legs and thighs and billowing out around her ankles, brushing the floor slightly when she walked or stood still. The tips of black tennis shoes peaked out of the faded blue denim.

She didn't have anything else better, so she went with it. With one last cringe away from the thought of the outfit, she stepped onto the elevator. It wasn't like most elevators; it didn't make her stomach drop when it started going up.

Upon reaching the top floor, her eyes widened. Wow. She barely acknowledged the depressed-gray-turquoise aura emanating from beside one of the metal tables, more concerned with looking the party over. "Hm." she mused, her brows having disappeared under her bangs. She looked over at Game, lips turning up in a smile. "You didn't tell me you and I were the only ones invited," she said, trying to be cheerful as she strode over to stand close to him. She managed to snag a stool with her ankle, hooking her foot over the metal and dragging it towards her, sitting down with a Hmph. She propped her elbows on the table and rested her chin between her loosely curled fingers, eying the metal box. She hummed again but said nothing, looking over at the brunette boy curiously.

Well, this was... Odd... The robot was now finished in helping the human boy in creating the spaceship. How was it odd? Well, the human suddenly got the idea of a party. It took the robotic girl a while to understand what was going on. Her database was always faster when she was fighting, and simple matters, such as a social gathering, slowwed her down. Strange. Anyways, Black Rock Shooter sighed, staring at herself infront of a mirror in an unoccupied room that she was currently staying in while at the apartments. She was wearing a black-and-blue dress (click) that she had made herself. Yes, folks, the robot from the future can create outfits. It is mainly a skill that was installed into her in case her... Revealing normal outfit rips or gets completely destroyed. Ahem. Anyways, the girl had her long, black hair straight and, well, not put into the two uneven pigtails they were usually in. She didn't wear in make-up (she doesn't know how to put it on), and she really looked like a rich girl going to a party in a mansion. Well, the party should be starting soon. The robot made her way out of the room, and over and into the elevator. Up, up, up the elevator went, her blue eyes locked on the door. Finally, it stopped and opened, revealing the ballroom-like area. Wow, the aliens sure have over did themselves. The girl took a few steps out, scanning the area. It was... Deserted. Wait, no, there was one other person, Game, the brown-white-white-haired boy she had been helping ever since she arrived on Sigma. There was also Adailia, the girl she had met when she and Game were running from the Sigma police the first day she was on the planet. Ah, memories. The robot took a few more steps before stopping, completely unsure of what to do since, you know, she wasn't good at these sorts of things.

Ashton looked over at the clock in her bedroom, it was still too early. Sighing, she flopped down on to her squeaky, tiny bed, God only knew how much she hated that bed. Laying down with her back to the rock-hard bed and her legs hanging off the edge, she tried to remember a gathering she had last been to on Earth. She’d been to many school dances, countless ones actually. And a few Christmas parties with her mom, but other than that, she had absolutely no experience with high-school parties. Would she stand out? Look retarded? Questions popped in an out. Geez, she hated these moments. Would the time ever come to leave?

No.

Looking over at the clock for about the billionth time, Ashton realized that she might as well casually make her way there. Walking over to the mirror she inspected her outfit for another time and fluffed her flattened black hair. Time to go… She said to herself. She headed out the door, her keys in her dress pocket and her purse-thing over her shoulder. She headed towards the end of the hall and to the pod-elevator thing.Ashton looked down at her feet. Elevator-type things always made her feel sick. As the pod-thing blasted up from the first floor to the roof, Ashton had time to over-look her outfit. It was the best formal thing in her closet. She gazed in the mirror, looking at the dress. It was a white sundress with a black pattern at the bottom, at the time when she was on Earth it was one of the latest fashion trends, so she guessed that it would look alright. Looking at the rest of the dress there was two small straps, holding the dress on of course, and a floppy bow on the left. Her shoes were small, blue and strappy. And she had a few gold bangles around her wrist. The outfit was completed with a long, chain with a few sliver stones in it. Ashton had to admit, she did look good.

As the elevator dinged she stepped out, her headache and dizzy-ness clearing a tad. She walked over towards the party. Wow, the place should had changed, but I don’t feel like describing it cuz no one care, right? Anyways … Ashton walked over towards Adailia, a sort-of-friend of hers, they had talked once or twice before, and she did feel somewhat comfortable around her. Shuffling closer she mumbled, “Hey.” To her, she was talking to Game, but who cared?

Bored :I *coughfailcough* And uhh here's the dress. Meh. http://www.irenelim.com/fashion/images2/printed-silk-sleeveless-dress-b.jpg

BONUS MISSION- Happy Holidays~ <3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: BONUS MISSION- Happy Holidays~ <3   BONUS MISSION- Happy Holidays~ <3 EmptyFri Sep 10, 2010 9:03 pm

Adailia wasn't in the room; she'd gone outside or something like that. Kaira had watched her roommate leave before closing the door and flopping down onto her bed. She let out a breath and stared around the room. Tonight was the night of the Christmas party. Okay, so she knew what Christmas was, and she knew what a party was. And the last Christmas party she'd had was in the orphanage, where they decorated the big playroom-type-thing with vibrant reds, greens, and silvers and served fruit punch and cakes.

But no, that wasn't really the issue. The real problem was that she had nothing to wear. There was abso-fricking-lutely nothing fancy, or even special in her wardrobe. She sighed; she wanted to wear something other than jeans and a T-shirt. And she didn't even have time to go to the shop and get something with... Sigma-bucks or whatever they were called. Well... at least her hair was washed. And she'd made herself some nice-smelling soap and stuff. Ugh.

Just then, something clicked, and she sat up on the bed. She thumped herself on the head. My power! Why didn't I think of that in the first place? And so she got to work.

The brunette tried to remember outfits she'd seen in magazines, commercials, TV shows, anything that she'd ever seen before. She closed her eyes to concentrate and before long, garments of every shape, colour, design, and pattern had been scattered around her on the bed. Okay. Clutter would be easy to clean up; she could simply will it away. But which one should she wear? "Might as well just pick one." Kaira muttered.

Just a mere fifteen minutes later, Kaira was standing in front of her full-body mirror. She stared at her reflection; it stared back. She was wearing a short, strapless cocktail dress, black in colour, that cut off just above her knees. There was red silk wrapped around her... abdomen, and the hem was made of the same material. Black lace hung just below the hem, about an inch in width. A poinsettia was tucked into the silk ribbon around her abdomen, petals facing outwards. All in all, it was pretty simple. Wordy, but simple all the same.

Kaira let her silky brown hair loose, but put in a tiny black bow with scarlet holly berries for a little more holiday flair. She ran down the hall and took the elevator up. It wasn't until she reached the floor that realized she was still barefoot. Thinking fast, she made herself a pair of black strappy heels. That would have to do. She stepped forth into the room, hoping, praying that she wasn't under or overdressed.

Game actually smiled when he saw Adailia. It was only a week or so ago that he realized that... She was not an average girl. Ignoring all the jokes about her tom-boyishness, her loner attitude and how she was usually so rude. He barely even listened to her talking about whatever. He was too shocked by her appearance. She was wearing a dress? A dress!? It was only after a moment of him staring at her that he actually thought up a reply. "Wow, Adailia you look... Sexy." there was a hint of humor in his voice, but really he was being truthful, even though most of the people in the apartments would never use the words 'Adailia' and 'sexy' in the same sentence, he found it easy to compliment her. But their 'moment' was short lived because right after Adailia entered came Black Rock Shooter. On the one hand, was the beautiful Adailia, spunky as always. And on the other was Black Rock Shooter, so mysterious with that lost look in her eyes, and her long black hair that dangled down her back.

"BRS!" he shouted, his voice carrying across the dining table. "Over here!" He found yelling to be necessary because of how large the rooftop actually was. Aliens had a knack for building large skyscrapers. Game glanced back at the gift next to the table, noticing that Adailia had been eying it. He had a sarcastic comment ready for her if she asked about it, but he didn't feel like saying it, instead, he just picked the cube up, and juggled it from hand to hand, waiting for the others to come. It was odd how BRS has suddenly gotten a new set of clothes, he didn't remember her having anything besides her usually small, small, dreadfully small shorts, and barely existing shirt. Wow, those scientists were pedophiles, but at least they had given her something else to wear. He was kind of getting tired of diverting comments about her from others, and the more she wore that same outfit, the stranger and creepier the question goes.

Game looked up suddenly, noticing yet another person arrived. Probably the third girl. Ashton. With a boys name. Strangely enough, Game wasn't attracted to her like he was attracted to every other girl in the universe. He just found her... Too girly. Too average. It wasn't that she wasn't pretty, it was, just that she didn't think of her anything more than a sister. And not many people He opened his mouth to say something to her, but she addressed Adailia so quickly, he didn't get to say anything. He sighed inwardly, leaning his head backward so that he stared up at the skies. The awkwardness was mounting, and he had almost felt as if their was going to be a moment where he wasn't thinking about space and the spaceship. Maybe it was because he was at a party for the spaceship, leaving would just make things worse, knowing that he wouldn't be able to get to sleep.

The elevator opened yet again, ever so suddenly. Kaira. He averted his eyes from her awkwardly, instead just staring off into space, whistling a tune.

Adailia felt the tiniest blush stain her cheeks the color or cherry blossoms. The scent of said flower hung in the normally disgustingly slimy air. The grime was enough to attach to one's throat and strangle them after a while... "You look good yourself," she complimented, her words just ending as Ashton came up. "Hey," she responded, smiling.

Why was she being so friendly? Hm. The good moods were infectious, it seemed. The auras, all bright, swirling colors that seeped into her own and colored it like a rainbow. It annoyed her to no end, how little control she had over her own emotions. Just as she was about to start talking to Ashton again, a lonely pang struck her heart. It confused her at first, and she blinked, blue eyes showing the emotion for only a brief moment. Who could be feeling lonely? Half the people at the apartments were here already... In fact, just now she'd seen Yang's mop of black hair emerging from the elevator, his face drawn into the normal frown. But even he was feeling the happiness that pulsed like a living, breathing thing. His lips curled up lightly, and his sister grinned and twirled around in the revealing silky black dress.

Nobody was lonely looking though. She tuned out everything and focused on that one emotion. Difficult to do, actually. It seemed to belong to someone, aura a deep, pulsating purple-blue. Like bitter happiness. She turned, acknowledging Ashton again with a small wave of "one minute". Game.

"Why so lonely?" she asked, raising one brow. "It';s your party, right?"

ooc: zomg, this is gonna fail. Again. DX

The black-haired girl blinked, pausing from her current scanning of the rooftop. She looked over at the brown-with-white-haired boy, the brown-haired girl, and the... Other black-haired person she's never seen before. Black Rock Shooter nodded in responce to the human boy's call. She didn't feel like running, jogging, or sprinting over, so the robotic girl just walked. Even with the size of the rooftop, she was over to the small group in seconds. The girl glanced over at the black-haired human girl she's never seen before, her blue eyes seeming to stare into the human's soul. After a few moments, she blinked, removing her gaze from the human. Black Rock Shooter then locked her gaze on Game after some thought. "Aren't human social gatherings supposed to have music?" She asked, tilting her head slightly.

BONUS MISSION- Happy Holidays~ <3 Empty
PostSubject: OOOHHH MYYYY GOOOOD I DON'T WANT TO MAKE THIS POST!   BONUS MISSION- Happy Holidays~ <3 EmptySat Sep 11, 2010 9:04 am

Cezar lay back in his bed, his head propped up by the pillow as he stared at the ceiling. He sighed sadly as he watched the movie of his mind play itself until he eventually decided to think about it and all the while, as if a text stuck itself plainly, blatantly, and obviously in front of the whole show asking constantly if he wanted to turn this all into some reality. But he let the invisible text stay there, not answer yes or no as if he was undecided or if he didn't mind it being in the way, or something else.

He had dressed himself for today's occasion long before he heard the steps of even Game going out to where the whole festival would be held. It was pure habit to be dressed three or so hours earlier than he needed to be simply because his parents had a thing about punctuality and polite things and such. He wore a cream colored, single-breasted Italian suit with a black-colored floating canvas and peaked lapels. In his chest pocket, which was lined in white, held a red handkerchief, placed neatly and exactly to formal specifications. Under his jacket he wore a matching red dress shirt tucked neatly under his trousers and a dark-ruby tie. To completely the outfit he wore black dress shoes.

He wasn't sure what was wrong with this day. He had this weird feeling in his stomach that was an odd mix of nervousness and... something else, but ti wasn't very strong. The prospect of going to this party didn't motivate Cezar at all, in fact, he didn't even want to go, the whole idea seemed pretty depressing. He felt a little depressed. The first Christmas every without his family and the first Christmas with these other people, most probably experiencing the same thing. Even if he'd known them all so long, today they felt like complete strangers and he felt that going to a party with them without the accompaniment of someone he actually knew was unthinkable. Unfortunately, no matter how much he didn't want to go, he had to go. He'd grown up on the rule that stating: The neglect to tell your host of your absence at least five days before the event is unacceptable. You go and you and you enjoy it, and if you don't, act like it. He had a lot of experience acting like it.

Christmas, it was almost amazing. Soon it would be, or at least should have been, New Years and after that the months would start to repeat itself. They'd been out here in the middle of nowhere almost and it was closing in to a year. A year. It's felt like years just being on here now. It was a wonder that he still knew the date. Maybe he only kept track because this alien world was so different that there just had to have been something to keep himself at least remotely connected to Earth.

Such a shame.

With one last sigh Cezar lifted himself up and got out of his bed, checking himself over and fixing his tie. He looked over at Reede's bed, his eyes staying there for a second. For one he actually cared where that boy was. He certainly wasn't here now. It didn't seem like he ever saw him anymore and now that the spaceship was made and there was this party he should have come. He has to have come. But he was gone, and Cezar honestly didn't know what to do or say about that, so he decided to say absolutely nothing and head on his way. Before he left the room, though, the familiar robotic voice of Jason sounded up.

"Would you like me to come along with you?" The robotic Flemish Rabbit said to him, the once simple imagination now perfectly real. He stared back at him for a while, his ehad only slightly turned. It would be nice to have some company on the way there, but he would be so out of place there.

"That won't be necessary," he muttered somewhat sadly. Jason answered back in his usual words and Cezar was out of his room shortly after. He walked down the hallway, thinking about the events of today, the events after today, the events after that. What would become of them all? What would become of him? They were just simple teenagers, you couldn't even round most of them to anything but ten years of age. Not that age really mattered here. There was no sought out guidance from older, wiser people. He was thankful for that, being one of the oldest. He didn't think he'd have an answer to any of their questions.

He walked almost mechanically down the hall, not thinking at all as to where he was going, just letting his body take him to the memorized path like an odd GPS. It was weird walking like that. It had an... aimless feel to it, but even that feeling began to feel dull, much like every other one at this moment as he started to swim deeper into his own thoughts, his eyes focused on whatever was in front of him. If his arms were stretched out before him and he was moaning he'd be a zombie, but his arms weren't stretched out before him and neither was he moaning. He was just as humanly and alive as he'd always been, which became increasingly harder to believe and accept ad the weeks went by. Sometimes it felt like he was in a dream and he'd eventually wake up in a normal world, sometime he would wish and demand it was a dream, sometime it was just nothing. Just a simple day of purely nothing. The thought was hard to contemplate. Nothing. A click sounded behind him, but he hardly heard it and paid no mind, not until he heard his name did he stop and look back into reality.

"Cezar?" It was Xeda, looking out of her room with a questioning expression on her face, one that confused him. "Did you hear what I said?" Greatly confusing. He didn't think to say anything, not knowing what to say, so he simply shook his head, simply telling her without making a sound: "No, negatory. I didn't hear a single thing you said. Nearly walked right by, in fact." She let out an annoyed sigh, but was willing to repeat what she said anyways. "Where are you going all dressed up like that?"

Oh. "To the Cheistmas Party slash Game Finished the Spaceship Celebration. It is today. Don't you remember?" She took on a pondering face for a while, and then it seemed to light up as she remembered the events leading up to this one. She disappeared back into her room and came out with paper-like material and, on it she had a srawing on it. God knows where she acquired the things for that.

"Can you make this for me?" She asked in her politest tone. Cezar grumbled his small agreement and turned to face Xeda, grabbing the picture and looking over it. Well, it seemed simple enough. In no time, without a twitch of the wrist or a conscious thought, he had effectively made a dress just the way she wanted and with everything she needed to complete it. It was even confirmed when she thanked him for it, took it eagerly and went back to her room.

"Wait for me, okay?" She said before closing her door to change, he supposed. He sighed once again and leaned on the wall. How long would this take? He hoped she wasn't one of those girls who took forever just to put on a shirt. As he rested on the wall, he started to notice the difference in the place. It was colored now, actually had an oder other than soggy rug and burned plastic. There were also decorations and other such things. He wasn't sure if Game had done this over night, or if this were a favor of the aliens. It was probably the aliens. The thought of that made him not want to go even more when he started to think of the probability of aliens being there too. What did they know about Christmas? Nothing, absolutely nothing. Hmphf. What an odd concept. Nothing.

Cezar groaned as minutes seemed to pass into days as he waited for Xeda to come out already. What did she do? Have a heart attack and die or something? Sheesh, they were going to miss out on the important stuff like food and presents or whatever. Wait.. presents. There weren't going to be any presents! What did they have to make presents out of? Psh. Nothing, that's for sure. Well, even if they weren't, he could make something for them. Christmas was about giving and such after all. He started to conjure up presents, each with a different sized box, different colored wrapping, and different colored bows, all labeled for the intended party goer. Each were perfectly unique, but all of them ultimately carried nothing. The idea of the presents was that they would carry the one thing the person wanted most when they planned for this Christmas and if they wanted nothing for some reason or another, then the one material they want most now. That's what he wanted them to do and that's what they would do. Simple as that.

He carried each one as he waited for Xeda to come out, the task exceptionally easy. He started to tap his foot as the next twenty minutes, by his watch--metaphorically speaking, since he didn't have a watch (and why not just make a watch? Well why not just make a tank with unlimited fuel so they could get back to Earth? But then again who would want to? The place probably looks like hellish crap. Anyways.)--considering now and again to just leaving. But, one the eighth or so thought of it, a click of the door sounded, and Xeda was out.

She wore a dress of black, as usual (she always thought blacked matched her better), that ended at the near the tops of her feet. It was a revealing dress that showed a tad more cleavage than the standard. One the short sleeves was a single hole shaped like a diamond, the tip in the very middle, and to match these was one on her stomach, though high enough not to show her navel. It seemed like it started right at the tip of her bra and then down to its point. Just, right there, perfectly in fact. Like it was calculated by the greatest mathematicians. But, taking the attention and subject off of diamond-bras he looked at her face instead of her dress, and saw that she was actually wearing makeup for once. Red lipstick and light eyeliner. Her hair was even done up not in its usual way. Today it was in one of those low-plaited buns and to make her a little more festive was a red rose in her hair. It took her that long just to put on a dress, wrap her hair up, put in a flower, and then add make-up on three different places. Good God and Jesus! What was with girls!? She must have been taking a bath and a shower after that before she started.

He started to think that if they covered in those holes and took out those sleeves, she may just look like she was ready to have a tango with a french man. Or was that Spanish....? Oh, who cared? He's only done it once himself.

"So how do I look?" Xeda asked him, breaking into his very off-topic thoughts. He looked over at her again, having to tilt his head past the presents.

"Great." He said, not wanting past that. "And, can you hold some of these? I can't really see."

"Of course," she answered, taking down the highest boxes until they each had an even or somewhat even amount. She walked past him, going to the elevator, he would think and he followed her, speeding up until he caught up with her. Well, it seemed like most everyone was going to this party, or maybe just a couple. A couple like... five or so, he wasn't sure. It was about five minutes before they reached the elevator. It was nice and all that they had an elevator, but why have it so far away? Ugh. When they both got on, the thing went up immediately, already knowing where they wanted to go from some mind-reading database or something. He wasn't sure, he just knew he never had to press a button to get where he was going. He waited patiently as it went up, not liking it at all, or ever. He liked the old elevators better. They may not have been as fast, but at least they gave you something to lean on while you went up. Both seemed to give the same level of claustrophobia though.

"Hey," Xeda suddenly said to him. He turned his head towards her in response. "One of these things are for me too, right?" Oh, shit.

"Of course, how could I forget to make a present for you, Xeda?" As he spoke another one of the presents faded into view, laying on top of the stack he already had. It made it all heavier, though, since this one, unlike the others, actually had something in it since she was in its presence. Xeda, seeing it, gasped and had one of those disbelieving laughs. It surprised him too, since it was very girlish. It was almost as if she had never laughed before.

"I'd punch you if I didn't have all these things in my hands," she managed to say through laughs. He was sure she would too.

"That's your laugh?" He asked her, now that it was being addressed, he found himself unable to not laugh at it. The fact that it was such a contrast to what he saw every day made it oh the more hilarious. But Xeda didn't find it as funny, starting to frown the laugh into lifelessness, as if she had practice doing it.

"Yes, and I hate it. Tell anyone and you'll be losing one." He stopped laughing after that, not sure what "one" was, but knowing Xeda it was probably best to protect everything in his lower regions by saying absolutely nothing. The elevator reached the top after that, and they were on the domed roof with the others. Game, of course, Adailia, Ashton, Bri-Brianna? He wasn't sure what her name was anymore, and Kaira and Yang and Yin. It was almost like they were the last to be here, but Lenina wasn't here yet and he had a feeling Reede was never coming. Thinking about the boy reminded him of the events prior to running into Xeda and the old feeling of grief seemed to mix in with the dread for his own balls.

"So, where do you want me to put these?" Xeda, said, shifting the boxes as their weight increased with every present being conjured up, something that he didn't even notice.

He shrugged. "On the table?" There was a table, right? Cezar looked past the presents again. Yeah, there was a table. He let Xeda lead the way as his grievances were momentarily forgotten as he looked around the dome. How come he never came up here? Eh. He set the presents on the table, unstacking them one by one in their own spot and then doing the same for Xeda's pile.

Well, let the party commence.

A pouting toddler stomped her foot loudly. Her outer lip was jutted out in a pout. We get a Christmas party but nothing for Halloween! Despicable! She had traded in her normal black shirt and shorts for an equally black dress and a black bow tied into her hair. She was still wearing her normal shoes, though. Any normal child could get away with being underdressed but for Bianca, well that wasn’t the case. So she had got Tristan to get Ritsuka to get Jinx to take her shopping for something yesterday. Ilet clothing fit humans well, except for pants, which had holes for tails and such. She stormed her way down the hallway, heading to the elevator. She didn’t know if she was going to have any fun but whatever. Beats sitting in her room while everyone else went. Right before she got on a voice called out to her. She looked over and spotted the light pink-haired teenager. “Where’s your date?” she snickered.

“What kind of greeting is that?” Tristan replied jokingly with a raised eyebrow. He tugged a little at the sleeve of the dress shirt. He was just wearing a white dress shirt, black jeans, and black tennis shoes. He just had this laying around for whatever reason and threw it on. Though he felt a little underdressed but there wasn’t any time to dress into something else. He squeezed past Bianca and stepped into the elevator. “Don’t want to be late, do we?” The toddler shrugged in reply and stepped inside as well. Soon they arrived and stepped out into the party room. Bianca instantly spotted the wrapped presents and her eyes seemed to sparkle. She charged over there and stared at them all. Though Halloween was her favorite holiday, Christmas ranked second. Who didn’t love presents? While she was practically drooling over the presents, Tristan took a seat and gave everyone a hello.

---

Three hours earlier, though, life was finally stirring in room 103. Cheryl slowly sat up, a hand covering her face. Her head was pounding and her vision was slightly blurred. After a few minutes she finally focused her green eyes on the clock-calendar thing on her bedside table. She stared at the day it was saying but it wasn’t making sense. It was three days ahead. It was stupid. She shuffled into the bathroom and blearily peered into the mirror. Something about her reflection caught her eye and she looked closer into the mirror. Occasionally she’d see a streak of black in the ends of her hair. But realization hit and she remembered the fight. She had lost control of her power and blew up two rooms. After that, though, she couldn’t remember anything. Upon thinking about it, did that mean the calendar was right? She must had been unconscious for three straight days! Though at this thought she just shrugged and took a shower.

Reluctantly she left the steamy bathroom, wrapped up in a towel, to grab some cloths. But that’s when Cheryl noticed the box sitting on the dresser. There was a note sitting on top and her eyes took in the words. For the party. Don‘t be late. Merry Christmas or something. B. Must be from Bianca, the only ‘B’ she knew. Though the handwriting looked like Tristan’s, but that didn’t mean she didn’t get him to write it. She opened it up and stared into the box at its contents.

In present time, the elevator made another trip onto the roof. Out stepped Cheryl, who still looked a bit sleepy. Though she was wearing a satin, knee-length, red dress. Around the waist was a black ribbon that tied into a drooping bow. The fabric that rubbed against her legs looked a little crunched up, but in the stylish way. Her blonde hair was split between the two sides of her head, but each side was pressed into a big curl. Bianca had somehow found an alien version of a hair curler and threw it into the box. Didn’t get why all this was necessary. They could just gave cheers over cups of hot chocolate. Seeing everyone before her dressed up about made her laugh, but the feeling of nothing but hair on her shoulders blew that out the window. Bianca just had to get a strapless dress, didn’t she? And she felt a bit overdressed compared to the others. She was not letting that toddler buy stuff for her again. Her black heels clicked against the ground as she walked over to the table. “Three days I’m out of it and all this happens.” All the decorations was kind of. . .scary. It was like some serious holiday freak went bonkers.

BONUS MISSION- Happy Holidays~ <3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: BONUS MISSION- Happy Holidays~ <3   BONUS MISSION- Happy Holidays~ <3 EmptySat Sep 11, 2010 5:43 pm

Game's eyes sparked when he saw Yin. And a cheshire cat smile curled it's way onto his lips. The girl was hot. Just plain hot. And her brother... Well, he took all her good looks and threw it away. Yang. He was like an enormous tower holding the beautiful princess. Game didn't want to mess with him, the kid was some sort of pyro, and he didn't want to be lit on fire any day soon. He wasn't sure if Yang was the protective type with his sister, but Game knew he shouldn't test him. He murmured a thanks to Adaila's compliment, as he stole glances back at Yin. He barely heard what she said next, something about this being his party. "I'm fine." he said quickly, though he immediately remembered Adailia's power, seeing auras. "Uh... Nevermind... You wanna dance?" he said, hoping this would detract from his sudden depression. After this comment, he heard Black Rock Shooter, who was saying something about there being no music. He frowned, looking at her with raised eyebrows. "Um... Well, I guess this doesn't qualify as music." he said mocking the music that was playing from the monitors above. Was something wrong with her ears?

Game shook his head quickly, standing up and pocketing the small metal box that contained his gift. That's when the elevator opened yet again. Wow, why didn't people ever take the stairs? This time it was Cezar and Xeda. He had almost thought that Cezar had ceased to exist, and Xeda... Well, he hadn't seen her since the naked Ilet incident that still made him shudder. They were carrying a large amount of presents, well Xeda was, Cezar was just surveying. For a moment, he questioned what the boxes were, then he realized something. They were gifts. All of them. How generous. He thought, wondering how Cezar got them. Maybe he made them with his power. He had seen what he could do when he put his mind to it. It was one of the reasons Cezar wasn't his best friend, if they new each other on different terms, they'd be the best of friends. But because Cezar hadn't just poofed up a spaceship, he despised him.

"Hey, Santa Claus." he said with a smile, "And if it isn't Mrs. Claus." He didn't know if his joke would carry over to Cezar, it could obviously be drowned out by the music, or him being at the end of the table, whatever the reason, Game didn't care. And just as the presents touch the table, the Elf entered. Bianca and her crony, the freaky and fairly flamboyant, Tristan. Both of them were people to stay away from, just because they were so strange. Especially Bianca. She just rubbed him the wrong way, she probably rubbed everyone the wrong way. Thankfully, Bianca didn't notice him, instead she dove for the presents, which he couldn't resist laughing at. It seemed even a freak child like her couldn't resist the allure of gifts. He wondered if Bianca even remembered her first Christmas, being so young, she probably could trace her past back that far. He shook himself from this sad thought, wanting to get back into the party mood that was supposed to always be with him.

The elevator opened... Again. Game stared at it with surprise, who else was their that would go to a party? Ikuto was being all moody, hiding in his room, Reede hadn't been seen since who knew when, and everyone else was pretty much here, except Lenina, which he was kind of thankful for. But it was Cheryl. He wondered why he hadn't noticed that she wasn't there before. She had been in some sort of coma all this time, Lenina had been found near her, but she revealed no information, just shrugged and skipped away. He had actually been worried about her, but he'd never admit it. She'd only pick on him for it. Game looked at her with a determined glare, wondering if she was happy or sad. Happy that the spaceship was finally done and that saving Len was to come tomorrow, or sad at the fact that they were celebrating without Len. But when she talked she was surprisingly, peppy. Or at least somewhat, complaining as always. "Nice dress." he said finally, not giving her the satisfaction of seeing him grovel for her appreciation.

Lenina frowned, sitting up suddenly. The sound of music pulsated through the apartments, and possibly across all of Xychus City. It was pretty good music too, it sounded... Alien. Something that made it so awesome. Lenina leaped out of bed, suddenly having the enthusiasm to go to the Christmas in Game's honor. It was kind of... Showboating to say the least. He must think very highly of himself to take a holiday that's supposed to about Jesus and using it for his own purposes. But Lenina wasn't that religious either. She didn't need to get dressed, the clothes that she would wear to the party were already on her. Simply a long sleeve, black top, and tight black jeans. As if she'd wear a dress, she half-expected Adailia to be wearing something similar. They were both two birds of a feather, at least in theory. She tied back her blond hair in a ponytail, impaling the yellow tendrils with what looked like two chop sticks. She didn't have time to primp, curl, and apply make-up like other girls, she had things to be doing, and sitting her making her self look beautiful was not one of them.

Walking along the halls of the apartment was similar to walking through a photo gallery, seeing all of the gorgeous faces of aliens, running around and celebrating. It was a pleasant thought to think some people in the universe were still happy. Unlike most of the humans that resided at these apartments. Their happiness was ruined by thoughts of Len, and how she was oh-so-close to death, or worse. She imitated the gasping faces of the others. She marched her way, soldier like into the pod like machine that would take her too the rooftop. Mentally going through the routine she had planned for today. She had to keep up the image of being totally crazy. While escalating through the various levels of the apartment complex she bobbed her head to the aliens crazy music, even if it made no sense to her, the beat of the music was fairly impressive. Better than some of the trash back in the human world.

The machine vomited her out before she knew it. And almost instantly as she stepped onto the transformed rooftop. She barreled forward. Taking it at a run and front flipping numerous times. This gymnastic like entrance, had been practiced before. Back in Africa she hadn't been the freaky girl she was now, she had actually conformed to the ways of the cheerleader for a short time. It had been her adoptive father's idea, his views were very American. The perfect girl was one that was perfectly girly, and did whatever you said. Though, it was useful in combat to have the skill of agility. As she neared the table in her innumerable flips, she bounced off the ground, ending her athletic leaps and instead flying through the air. Landing on the table with the balls of her feet. Without skipping a beat, she executed near perfect cartwheels, dodging the basket of odd liquids and landing criss-crossed apple sauce at the center of the table, looking at all of her seated 'friends'.

She turned her head almost at a thirty degree angle and plucked one of the champagne like bottles from the basket. She raised into high into the air, as if she had planned just for this occasion. "To Agamemenon Curtis Frasier," she said, knowing that spouting the boys full name would get him angry. "For building the spaceship that will take us across the stars to save Len." she nearly spat the last word, pointedly nodding at Cheryl with a vicious, snake like smirk.

Ashton padded over to a near by table, the click-clack of her heels seemed to match the rythem to the music playing. A few Alien drinks were there and Ashton decided to gulp one. It tasted foul, but it was better than just standing there, not talking to anyone. She looked over as she heard the elevator ding, out came Kaira, she looked more formal than she did. Why didn’t I wear a better dress?, she silently cursed herself for not looking as good as the other girls at the Christmas party. Just as Ashton was about to get up and greet Kiara, another ding came from the pod. More people showed, how many more would show up?? Cezar and Xeda walked out, once again, Ashton felt under dressed. Xeda was wearing an elegant black, floor length dress with diamonds and stuff. Getting up, another drink in her hand she went over to the small circle of people chatting. When would this party get exciting? This gathering wasn’t like the ones that she was used to back on Earth. She slowly shuffled her way over, sighing, So far…. Not so fun. Ashton sort of envied Adailia for already been taken away to the dance floor by some guy. She couldn’t tell who it was by the back of his head, but guessed that it was Game. The two had some sort of fling for each other.

Next came Cheryl, Bianca, and Tristan, Ashton didn’t know any of the three that well and decided to skip over them. She sipped her drink and clenched her eyes, wow that was nasty. But … who cared? Anything to make this party go by faster. She approached Kaira, she looked nice enough to talk to. “Hey.” She said to the brunette, “How’s it going?” she asked, hoping to start some sort of topic…

“DING.” Yet another person walked out, this time it was Lenina, an odd girl. Ashton had never talked to her before, and really wasn’t planning to. But if she approached her she guessed that she would talk … a bit. I guess she was better than anyone else. Lenina said something about Game, she couldn’t really make it out, her ears already ringing. Wow this Alien stuff was … vile. She needed to switch drinks and now. She held her finger up to Kaira, letting her know that she would be back in a second. She walked back over to the table that she had originally gotten her drink from. She set the filth down and grabbed a simple water. Much better. She walked back and resumed her spot near the girl.

"Hey," Xeda greeted back to game just a milisecond earlier than Cezar did. Xeda smiled in amusement as Bianca rushed to the presents, eyes shining with delight of what might just in each one. She always thought that the girl was just charming. She wouldn't have noticed Cheryl if she hadn't come in. She wasn't paying any attention to the doors at all. She raised an eyebrow at what she said. Out? For three days? She wasn't aware of this, she just thought she was having her alone time after Lenina's smack down, but that was it apparently.

"I hope you feel better," was the only thing she could think to say to her, she was never good at those "Get Well" type of things since she was always so used to those kind of things. She looked back at Cezar when he started his sentence, but there didn't seem to be the point because by the time he was two sentences in he stopped just as Lenina came in, jumping on tables and such and then giving a toast. Agamemenon, eh? She honestly thought his name was Game. He was so odd that she thought he had wacky parents. But... Agamemenon. Long, hard to pronounce, the kind of name that you're not sure how many of one letter is in it. One that you're tempted to spell "Agumon" just because it's easy. She liked it.

But liking a name wasn't enough to keep her from feeling a high level of annoyance. Lenina. She hated that bitch. She hated her more than Ikuto some times. There were days when she wanted to crush her neck like a glass cup just because she looked at her and didn't like her expression. Flipping around on the fucking tables that they had to get their fucking food off of for people such as her to enjoy. No, instead she wanted to act like a god-damned monkey with her poorly groomed ass sitting smack dab in the middle of the table and then grabbing whatever alien drink that was and making her stupid little speech. She wanted to grab it and crack it right over her head. That expression she had just sickened her. She never liked the way she acted, spinning and flaunting her way around the apartments, randomly starting up shit over a bed or something like that. Who the hell knew with this girl? She wished everytime she saw her that she'd missed the spaceship and gotten obliterated with everyone else. And whenever she thought of it, she never felt a pang of guilt or sadness for lost ones, because she meant it that much. If she could change on thing, it would be her.

God, she couldn't even remember what the fucking toast was about. She had to think a little while before she remembered. Oh yeah, the spaceship. "Yes, yes," she said back in tone opposite of her feelings, "I'm sure he could sleep for days if we didn't have to take off so quickly." It must have put a toll on his brain. At this time she was hoping that they could all get on before her so they could possibly take off and leave her stranded on this place. "Now get the fuck off the table before something breaks," she said afterward, a growl nearly slipping out.

"Isn't this fun, Nii-san?" sang Yin, her Japanese-accented voice ringing with laughter and joy as she spun around and around, loving the way her dress swirled out around her ankles in black rivulets. The light-hearted girl had been the one to suggest even coming-her brother had dreaded her announcement just moments after the invitation went out. "Yeah, guess so," mumbled Yang, his reply almost incoherent because of the pounding music that sent vibrations through his head. Some freakish alien song was playing now, the odd words drifting in one ear and out the other. The twins could care less.

"Mm, do you think anyone will ask me to dance?" The white-haired girl's enthusiastic voice made Yang's lips curl up in a tiny smile. Who would be stupid enough to refuse his sister? She looked beautiful in the floor-length gown, the color of midnight mixed with sapphires. A deep, dark green band wrapped around her waist, tying into a ribbon in the back. The neckline plunged deep, but not as deep as some of the other girl's attire. It showed just enough to leave a guy wondering what else there was. Her pale, creamy skin was unblemished and perfectly smooth. A blank canvas, with just a hint of an olive-coloring. "Of course, Nee-chan," he said, his voice affectionate. Her eyes, bluer than the bluest ocean, locked on his, and she let out a tiny, excited squeal, twirling around a few more times.

Yang himself had gone for a much simpler look. A white dress-shirt underneath a black jacket was all. Well, besides the black dress pants and shoes. He didn't partake in the dancing, didn't do anything to invite attention to himself. Just stayed close enough to her side to keep an eye on her. His stance was protective, wiry limbs always just slightly outstretched in case she lost her balance or turned to tell him something. He smiled and nodded at what she said, eager for the whole charade to be over. He wasn't all that socialized. Much unlike his bubbly sister, he preferred to stay in the shadows, only providing the warmth of a flame when he was truly needed or wanted while she was always there, a ray of silver moonlight to pierce any darkness the world might muster up. He envied her care-free spirit, almost. Envied the innocence in which she saw things, when really the whole thing was an illusion crafted by her own hands. She chose to forget, chose to forgive instead of lingering in past mistakes. Living on was all she cared for. She was the kind that lived in the moment, didn't look forwards towards her more-than-likely bright future, nor looked back at the past, riddled with doubt and splotched over with half-forgotten memories.

The songs they'd used to sing to each other, voices the epitome of opposite as one sang with a pure musical air about her, the way her hips rolled slightly under her fair skin as she leaped and danced gracefully. Balancing out her total goodness, unearthly purity, was the darkest of all dreams. His voice was strong and rougher, holding despair in his hands like it was an injured dove. His movements portrayed the clumsy leaping of flames, his steps ensuring that her's were safe.

Yang suddenly found himself singing Servant Of Evil in a low hum, eyes flickered like dying coals as he relived the sweet memory. The taste of actual cherry blossoms, of new-grown Spring grass had flooded his senses for a moment, and when he returned to the real world the filth of Sigma almost made him gag audibly.

-

Adailia blinked once, her eyes narrowing slightly at Game's infatuated hesitation. It seemed that almost every time a female apartment tenant entered, his aura grew more brazen. Instead of the blueish-purple he'd emanated earlier, now it was a multitude of pinks. She almost expected for tiny red hearts to fly out of his head. Now that would be humorous. She crossed her arms over her chest as his aura wavered, signaling his ball-faced lie of "I'm fine". Yeah, right.

She was about to tell him off when he turned to her and corrected his mistake. Her eyebrows almost disappeared under her bangs when he asked her to dance. To dance. Why on Earth-or, Sigma-would he ask her of all people to dance? Hm. He was a major player. Just seconds before he'd been eying Yin. She was sure she was just a back-up plan.

Cerulean eyes holding a slight trace of resentment, she nodded curtly. "Sure." Why not? It would just mean he wasn't grinding against another girl. Might as well save some of the trouble.

Adailia reached up and pressed two fingers to her temple. "Just a sec." she muttered, feeling a strange sense of vertigo. The auras were all so bright.... It was starting to hurt her eyes. Her head throbbed. She'd never been in a place with so much energy. The psychic field was off the charts. She wanted to block it out.

Unfortunately, she had no clue on how to do that. Swallowing the urge to vomit in her mouth at the revolting idea of dancing, she cast a dubious look at Lenina before grabbing Game's elbow and hopping off her stool. No way was she going to admit to him that dancing was as foreign as Sigma had been at first to her. She planned on just bearing through it before trying to retire to a quiet corner at the next song change. The beat was actually upbeat, it's tempo pounding right along with her heartbeat. The auras radiating off the dancers made the floor only that much more beautiful-even though it made her head sore to look at. Misty pink, blue, red, green auras seeped out of their hosts and onto the floor, obscuring black-clad feet and trailing smoky tendrils up onto the tables. The effect reminded her of that one Halloween her cousin had brought over a fog-machine and they'd run off in the woods, setting up strobe lights and adding food dye to the water and turning the underbrush violent shades of red and purple. For whatever reason, they'd been into goth that year.

Hard to imagine Adailia wearing those skimpy black dresses with vampire fangs, black lipstick and too much eyeliner. She'd followed along with it for around a week before telling her cousin to take back all the Gothic crap to swap them in for a few t-shirts and a vial of lip gloss. She still had that very vial, though she hadn't opened it in years. The distinctive smell of cranberry and juniper. Humph. It seemed to much simpler back then, didn't it?

((Sorry for epic-long fail. D:))

BONUS MISSION- Happy Holidays~ <3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: BONUS MISSION- Happy Holidays~ <3   BONUS MISSION- Happy Holidays~ <3 EmptySun Sep 12, 2010 12:22 am

A tiny shadow crossed over the girl's face at Game's reaction when he saw her. There was still an awkward gap between them, and Kaira wished with all her heart that it would go away. She hated the feeling, hated it so much that she wished she could will it away like she did with her unwanted creations. Unfortunately, life didn't work that way.

Kaira stayed standing, brushing the tips of her fingers against the soft black fabric of her dress. Her hair rested on her shoulders, long enough that the tips didn't tickle her skin. She shifted the weight between her feet, a task that was proving itself difficult with heels. She looked at the table. Alien food and beverages lined one of the long, rectangular tables, but on this table, she noticed that Game had placed a box on it. She felt as if something was about to cross her mind, but the sensation faded away as she heard a ding! behind her, announcing the arrival of both Cezar and Xeda.

Both were carrying presents. Shit. That was what she'd forgotten! Kaira cursed herself silently as she watched them. She could easily just whip up a few presents, but it would seem... really lame of her at this point. Maybe she could make up some excuse like going to the latrine, but going there and returning with presents? Yeah, that was definitely not lame.

Her thoughts were interrupted as she heard a vaguely familiar voice beside her. She turned to see the raven-haired Ashton. "Hey." She echoed. She'd been so busy concentrating on presents that she hadn't even noticed Xeda, Freaky Little Girl, and Ashton enter. "I-" Her response to the weather manipulating girl was cut off as said girl held up a finger and strolled off to get a drink, only to return a few seconds later with a glass of water. "Fine." She finished simply. At this point, Yin and Yang had appeared.

Yet another ding!, followed by a gymnastics show by Lenina surprised and distracted Kaira at the same time. A tiny smile lit up her features as she saw the blonde-haired girl. She was always doing something interesting, and her eccentricity and I-don't-give-a-damn-what-you-think-about-me attitude were two things that Kaira admired about the girl. However, her smile faded as she saw Adailia and Game heading to the dance floor. Together. And she had to admit, Adailia looked really good. And at that moment, a wave of some strong emotion washed over her, one that she hadn't been able to place before, one that had been completely alien to her: Jealousy.

And it was swept away like a sand castle would be taken by a wave, fading into just plain sadness. Adailia had always been stronger than her, and far more interesting. Kaira saw her a bit like an older sister, and the fact that the two girls had been living together for the past four years or so only strengthened the sensation. So, yeah. She was the insignificant little sister. No biggie, right?

Kaira forced herself to relax and smile. This was Christmas; she'd worry about that stuff another time. She could use this time to enjoy herself instead of brooding over who danced with who and whatnot. She didn't even know why she cared so much about Game and Adailia dancing. She could find someone else, or she could stay here and talk with people and bore the crap out of herself. Not that Ashton wasn't fun to chat with, but she wanted to experience Christmas for real this year. Try everything there was to try.

OOC: Wow, night post fail. xD

BONUS MISSION- Happy Holidays~ <3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: BONUS MISSION- Happy Holidays~ <3   BONUS MISSION- Happy Holidays~ <3 EmptySun Sep 12, 2010 1:28 pm

A soft giggle escaped the toddler’s mouth. What wonderful thoughts everyone had. Jealously and anger were just being tossed around. This evening was just going to be wonderful. Bianca climbed up onto a chair and then onto the table. Which one was for her? She was checking all the name tags her eyes landed on her own name. It was a red cube dotted with snowflakes and tied up in green ribbon. On top was matching green bow. Such a pretty sight. With no hesitation she ripped the wrapping paper away from the box, leaving her mess strewn about. She pulled the top off and peered inside. “A voodoo doll kit! What I’ve always wanted!” And it was just what everyone else needed. The creepy toddler in the hands of voodoo dolls. She opened it up and sifted through its contents. There was the instruction booklet and got to reading.

---

Tristan was just sitting there and listening to the alien music in a failsome manner.

---

Everything turned to background noise as Cheryl eyed the food and drinks set out on the table. It reminded her about being in that a coma-like state for three days. That was three days she didn’t eat or drink. Not to mention that food was one of her favorite things ever. As she reached out to grab a plate the elevator dinged again. Out came Lenina, who put on a show and toast for them. The look she gave her snapped whatever nerves she had left. Made her regret sparing her life. Oh how she wanted to smash that alien champagne bottle over her head. Instead she grabbed her own and gave it some furious shakes. It fizzed and built up pressure inside and she pointed it straight at the teenager sitting on the table. Out shot the cork with the alien alcoholic drink spray right behind it.

Game frowned when he saw Lenina make her entrance, he didn't remember telling her about the oncoming party, but he presumed word would have spread around, or the images on the wall were enough, or even the loud music. It could probably be heard all over Sigma. But her walking out of the elevator wasn't here 'entrance'. Her entrance was back-flipping half-way across the rooftop and then cartwheeling across a table. Giving him a toast, something that only made him more humiliated than he already was. He wanted to say something, but Xeda with a mouth like a sailors said it first, and much more poetically than he ever could. He mentally told himself to thank Xeda for that later. But the minute that the thought was out of his head, he felt a yank from Adailia, as she pulled him towards the dance floor. He frowned for a second, and then remembered his asking of Adailia if she wanted to dance. He smiled suddenly, happy that she had accepted.

Dancing was a second nature to Game. His family had always been a talented one. Every single member seemed to have their own special talent in some form of art. His father had been a great sculptor, his mother a painter. His aunt a designer, and his Uncle... Well he was black sheep. Game himself was skilled in dance, a talent that only helped him when he was dancing with girls. He didn't know any dance moves to the song that was playing though, and found himself feeling so awkward just standing there doing nothing, a surprised look on his face. Adailia had caught him off guard, while he was wondering how Lenina knew his full name, and trying to ignore the fact that she had just said it for everyone to hear. The beat of the music made him dizzy, the way it pulsated constantly, while a strange female alien vocalized wildly, he couldn't tell if it was Pop, Rock, Country, or Rave. He shrugged at Adailia with a half-smirk on his face.

But almost immediately after that he began dancing, feeling the beat of the music as if it were his own heartbeat. Both of the deep bump of the two different sounds blending together in complete harmony, while the woman's voice cast a fog over his mind. His eyes focused on Adailia's staring into her entrancing sapphire orbs. And embarrassingly realized that she was taller than him, not by much but still taller than him. This thought nearly made him stumble, but he caught himself quickly, pretending that it was part of his 'dance'. He tried not to notice though, knowing that it would only serve to throw off his groove and make him look like a fool. Being the only two humans dancing, it would look really bad if he fell. He was pretty much the center of attention right now. He attempted to avert his gaze from Adailia's height, but unfortunately, his eyes locked on to Yin, just past Adailia's curly brown hair. He caught sight of the girl, twirling in her seductive black dress, and felt as if his eyes were going to pop out of his head.

Warmth spread throughout his face. He twisted around Adailia, spinning so that his back was to Yin. Focus on Adailia. Just focus on Adailia and the music. He continued to say to himself, his eyes centered back on the girl. He frowned slightly, wondering what she was thinking. If he danced with her did that mean they were 'together'. The thought sickened him. Being 'together' meant being tied down. He was only fourteen, and splitting up while stuck in these apartments wasn't a good idea. It would be years until the awkwardness faded. It was one of the reasons he played the field, so everyone knew that he wasn't actually interested in any serious relationship, he only wanted to have fun. But did Adailia know this. Asking her that question would only make things more awkward between them. Maybe dancing wasn't a good idea. Then again maybe it was, this may be his final night seeing Adailia, ever again, a thought that oddly enough scared him.

"Better live it up." he accidentally said out loud. "I mean, I wonder why the others don't liven up." he said. Yeah, nice save. he said sarcastically to himself, wishing he could hit himself physically. He could feel the beat slowly, livening down. He took that to mean that a song change was coming. That was good, he needed time to gather his thoughts about Adailia, and not have to worry about seeing Yin, or tripping over his own feet. Kaira! The thought hit him like a bullet train, he had completely forgotten about her. Ugh... Wait, what had reminded him of her? Oh yeah. Stumbling over his own feet. His last run in with Kaira wasn't the greatest, and he had never gotten a chance to talk with her about the talk he had had with her. He had sort of expected her to understand about this sort of thing, but he guessed that even she wanted to be there until the very end, to save Len. But he couldn't have her along, she could get hurt... Was there something else? No. No, he didn't think about her that way, not when he... Ugh. Damn, these girls.

Lenina smiled at Xeda, not even regarding her aggressive comment. She hoped that Game would take her away on the spaceship and she would be mutilated horribly by some kind of alien. But she didn't say it out loud, giving Xeda the satisfaction of seeing her come up with a scathing remark, instead she just choose to ignore it. Xeda wasn't worth her time. Lenina put the bottle of the alien drink on the table, sliding it over to Xeda. "Drink your heart out!" she said with good cheer in her voice. Then a noise, shook Lenina from the world of joy. The swishing of water in a bottle, instantly, her eyes turned to the noise to see Cheryl shaking a bottle of the alcohol. From living in the slums, she didn't naturally know what the girl was trying to do, but knowing basic chemistry she understood that shaking up a fizzy substance had an explosive reaction. She must still be mad about her coma. Lenina thought, rolling her eyes. She should be since I kicked her ass.

Then it happened, the cork from the liquor shot out, heading towards Lenina. She made a face as if she was startled, and then snapped her head backward. Pretending to be hit by it. Slowly, she tilted her head back to look at Cheryl, holding the cork between her teeth. She was oddly reminded of the movie 'The Last Dragon' where the hero stopped a bullet with his teeth, this was the same thing, but just not as incredible. She spat the cork out of her mouth, shaking the alcohol out of her hair. The liquid had saturated her blond locks so that they were sopping wet tendrils, but she didn't care, as she shook her head like a dog that had just taken a bath. Almost immediately after this, she rolled into a handstand. Walking forward on her feet towards her seat, that she landed on, with that same smile on her face, even though her head was aching from all the twists and turns. Ugh... She almost felt like she going to throw up.

As Ashton resumed her position near Kiara, she glanced over to the dance floor. Game… There were so many words to describe that awful dancing. But it did look awfully fun, much more fun than sipping water and alien shit at a Christmas party. Damn this night sucked so far. Noting wanting to be the first ‘single’ person to dance on the floor, she turned back to Kiara, “So, uh, whats up?” she asked, nothing seemed to come out. It was like she was trapped, trapped, having zero fun. Why was she even staying? Was something keeping her here? But what? Questions swirled again, she hated this feeling, it she just wanted to … kick herself. She wanted to kick Adailia for already having a ‘crush’. She wanted to kick Game for being a perv, but in a hilarious way. And she wanted to kick everyone who was talking, dancing, drunk, mingling, and people who were having fun. Crap, here comes the anger… Ashton tried to calm herself, these anger ‘issues’ were pissing her off, well, what wasn’t?

God. Being a teenager sucked.

No muse at all. DDDDD:

OOC: *Guesses it's her turn to post* :X

Adailia felt embarrassed as she focused on not tripping over her own feet, or tripping over Game's. But pretty soon, she figured out she didn't need to worry about it. The way they danced, the way the tempo throbbed in the air around them. It just seemed to release a little of the tension she always had. She was spun gracefully around, her eyes wide. Game was looking past her shoulder just a moment before. What at?

She own eyes locked on to Yin. A small pang of jealous anger filled her, but she waved it off. Ah, who cared? She knew about Game's tendency to abandon girls as soon as they were in a 'committed' relationship. He said it at the exact moment, his aura a happy cotton-candy blue. She let out a short laugh. Sort of a snort really. "Yeah." she mumbled, closing her eyes. In an attempt to start conversation, she asked, "What time are we leaving? I need to know so I can control the hang-over time." in a teasing-ish voice.

OOC: Failed.

Cezar raised an eyebrow at Lenina. He didn't know how to comment on her, so he never did. He just left her as an unknown and looked no deeper into her. Especially with her cork catching trick. She wasn't easy to remember, but difficult to forget. He watched her until she sat down before turning his eyes back to Xeda, she had a glass in her hand, the liquid in the small, shot sized cup was yellow stained. He figured it was whatever was in the bottle that Lenina slid over to her. She slowly let the cup go through several revolutions as she had, what Cezar thought, her normal dark muse on overdrive, probably thinking about how she could use something innocent to cause the most pain to Lenina. He knew she hated her. He knew she hated her without even telling him. He knew she hated her before they even got on this planet. He still remembered why too.

She sipped from the cup, her expression not changing from its dark mood. She handed him the cup suddenly, simply telling him "You can have this" without a word. He took it out of her hand. What was he supposed to do, just drink it? "What you don't like it?" He asked her, already knowing the answer.

"Have you ever had Original Flavored Listerine? That's what it tastes like," she replied, looking at him with a raised eyebrow. No, he never had that before, but he was nervous about what that exactly tasted like, so he just set the cup down, taking his mind off of it so his curiosity wouldn't tempt him to try some. "This party needs more people," she muttered. She was bored with this, the past few days were more exciting than this. "This is your fault," she suddenly said. "You don't talk anymore so I don't have a thing to do." Oh now it was his fault. Gee, thanks.

"And you do?" She nodded her head in that "I guess have a point" kind of way and went away from the table.

"We need to spice this up," she said as he followed her. He looked to his side and spotted Adailia and Game, the two were dancing together like they should have done a long time ago. The drooling monkeys. God, that was such a Xeda comment. Anyways. He watched the two dance, the whole routine looking choppy. He couldn't tell who it was, but one of them was really messing up the whole thing. He had a feeling it was Adailia. She didn't seem like the one to dance, but then again it could be both. You just couldn't tell the way it looked. "Hey!" He suddenly heard he looked in front of him and stopped as quickly as he could when he saw that Xeda has stopped and turned towards him, giving him te harshest of glares. He'd almost ran into her boiling fury. "Are you paying attention at all?"

Crap. Crap. Crap. What did she say? What did she say? Um... something about spices. "Yeah, and I agree, we should make this party better." Even if he wasn't even sure what to do. He was just agreeing right now.

"So you'll do it?" Do... what now?

"Do what?" He couldn't help, but say it. He had no idea what she was saying and he didn't want to be hooked in some deal without even knowing what it was. She let out another aggravated sigh, the second of the day. Oh, come on! What was he supposed to do?

"I knew you weren't paying attention. Why not just say it next time?" She didn't give him time to answer. "Make this party better."

"Make it better? How the heck am I supposed to do that?"

"Well, for one, you could change the music."

"To what, exactly?" Cezar took a step back when a frown went on Xeda's face, a deep one too. What did he do this time? Sheesh. If it was going to make her mad then why did she always ask him to do stuff?

"You're such a dolt," she growled. What!? Goodness. Now it seemed like the whole world was his fault, he opened his mouth to apologize for doing nothing, but she put up her hand, stopping him. An apology wasn't what she wanted and it wouldn't help, that seemed to be the point. "Just... dance with me or something."

"You want to dance?" He asked, disbelief and shock in his voice, how... wow.

"Well what else is there to do, play Uno?" Well, it was a popular game back then....

"Huh?" Kaira looked up, slightly startled, as her friend spoke. "Oh, um. Nothing." She responded, telling the truth. Absolutely nothing. So she just stood there, watching as Ashton's expression became sourer and sourer. The brunette decided not to comment on it and instead, focused on Cezar and Xeda's heated conversation. The latter seemed aggravated at him, and the older boy looked as if he was piss-his-pants terrified.

Attention successfully grabbed, Kaira continued to watch the two of them. Her violet eyes widened slightly when she heard Cezar's minutely elevated voice. "You want to dance?" What? Xeda Lee Curtis wanted to dance with Cezar? Of all the things that would happen, she didn't think that ever would, or could.

But, she had to admit, she was a bit envious. She didn't want to imagine the humiliation of being the only one without a dance partner. She stared wistfully at Adailia, wishing she could experience what the older girl was at the moment. Her dance with Game was awkward, and yet graceful in its own way. However, she had to sigh in exasperation and disbelief when Game's attention turned to Yin. Well, she was rather pretty and she was wearing a pretty revealing dress. So it was no wonder Game had his eyes on her like magnets; he had to force them away, or they'd just keep gluing themselves to her.

The music began to fade away, a new beat starting up. This one was slow, but had a sort-of cheerful vibe to it. It was interesting and Kaira found herself tapping her foot and bobbing her head slightly to the beat.

If only she could actually dance to it.

Bianca looked at Xeda and asked telepathically, “You want to help me make a voodoo doll? I’m certain this model will be quite popular. Lenina is just everyone’s favorite person.” That couldn’t get more sarcastic. Her attention went back to the instruction book, making sure she remembered the steps right. She needed a hair from Lenina for that to work, though. She’d leave that to Xeda. There was no way she was going near Lenina. Not that she was afraid or creeped out by her. No she was just rather disgusted. Plus that girl gave her a foreboding since the first day she met her. And when pyschic girl got a foreboding feeling about someone, well that just doesn't settle right.

---

In front of the flush-faced, blonde teenager was an almost empty champagne bottle. Cheryl had been thirsty and chugged it till she felt like she was about to throw up. But now the alcohol, or the alien equivalent, was kicking in. She clumsily stood up, champagne bottle still in hand, and teetered onto the dance floor. “Présente pour les amoureux!” she slurred in French, drained the bottle of the last of the liquid then chunked it. It shattered to pieces a yard in front of her, which was still about three away from the dancing Game and Adailia. She muttered something in an incoherent slur before doing a wobbly dance, like she was imitating a Spinda. “Jolies couleurs,” she spoke in an awed, but still drunken, voice with her glazed over eyes looking at nothing in particular. She spun around, tripped over her own feet, and then landed flat on her face. All that came from her after that was a muffled jumble of more nonsense. This was definitely going to give her a hangover.

PostSubject: Re: BONUS MISSION- Happy Holidays~ <3   BONUS MISSION- Happy Holidays~ <3 EmptyMon Sep 13, 2010 6:21 pm

Game felt only a tad bit self-conscious. It wasn't that he was dancing with his would-be-girlfriend in front of all his friends that mattered. He walked around in his underwear on a daily basis, rarely things bothered him. But what was embarrassing him now was being with Adailia. He wanted to have this moment remembered and so far, he had done nothing but blow it. At least in his mind. He was thankful for the song change, and as the first song slowly died down, so did his dancing. His feet gradually stopped moving as did the music, this time replaced with a much slower song with a cheery beat. He cycled through his wide database of dances and chose the simplest one. And then he realized something. Adailia had said something. Crap. What was it? He couldn't figure it out so he just forced a laugh and a smile. Quickly, to cover up this mistake, he whispered in her ear. "Just follow my steps okay?" He pulled back and clasped Adalia's hand in his own.

His other hand roped around Adailia's hips, he tried hard not to accidentally touch her butt. And as the music began so did his waltz. His feet tapped along the dance floor rhythmically, the short two step motion carried him and Adailia around in slow circles, sometimes speeding up to the beat of the music. He held Adailia close, at tiny bit closer than was actually needed. As he held onto her he was vaguely reminded of his mother. Not because Adailia looked like her, only because the last time he had danced to the waltz it had been with his mother. He could recall the memory vividly. His mother allowing him to stand on her toes as she showed him the steps of the waltz. He held her hand tightly as if afraid to fall. He remembered her soft brown hair tickling his cheek, and her sweet flower like scent flowing around him, hypnotizing him. This was the first time he had actually recalled a memory such as this, usually they were so elusive.

A silent, silver tear flowed down from his eye. It went unnoticed as Game wasn't on the dance floor anymore. He was back at home. With his mother's laughter and his father's smiles. He held tighter to Adailia, shaking these thoughts out of his mind. There was a time later for reminiscing on days past, but this was not the moment. He felt as if he wanted the world to stop them. To give him time to mourn for his parents. He wished he could be able to run far from the place and see his parents once again. At least once. He couldn't even remember their faces any more. Even in his dreams - which he rarely had - they were faceless people. Walking soullessly away from him. It devastated him. He didn't even hear Cheryl's stupid shouting about nothing, though if he did, he would surely laugh at Cheryl flopping down on her face.

Game looked into Adailia's eyes, wishing for some sort of distraction that would not come. The second the thought popped in it's head, Game obeyed it. His lips touched Adailia's in a spontaneous burst of emotion. From a thousand dreams of kissing girls, Game had practice, and this was as easy as performing the alphabet. Except it felt much better and he actually got something out of it. His arms removed themselves from Adailia's hands instead wrapping around her back and hugging her tight. And that is as far as Legion is willing to describe. You know what french kisses are like. Tongue and all.

OOC: OMG! *vomit comets* Too... Much... *cringes* LOVE! ><

Adailia nodded at his advice. Yeah. Just follow his moves. She had no clue what the heck they were dancing. Or what to, for the matter. What was up with this music? Her eyebrows rose into amused lines as Cheryl fell flat onto her drunken face. She didn't have time to laugh, though, as Game put his hand around her waist and started holding her close for a dance she vaguely remembered as a waltz. She sighed slightly. This was something she'd seen before. It wasn't making her as self-conscious. She honestly didn't want to trip over Game. That would mortify the both of them.

She felt a huge wave of nostalgic sadness, directly in front of her, and turned her head, seeing Game crying. Game. Crying. Two words that would never have made sense a day ago. She almost reached out to comfort him, but stopped herself. It was probably over something stupid. Totally and completely stupid. She was curious, though, as to what was making him cry. Hm. Dilemma. Should she ask or ignore him?

Her mind wavered to the feeling of drunken stupor, and she felt intoxicated herself. What idiot would chug a whole bottle of that weird alien drink? Who? Only one person. Her eyes narrowed and she glowered at Cheryl, even though she couldn't see her. Her own steps were becoming clumsy. Ah, damn. This meant she'd have that hangover, too.

She was too busy in her own thoughts. She didn't see it coming until Game had forced his tongue down her throat. Her eyes went huge, and a full-body blush stole the heat from her fingers and toes. She stood there, frozen for an instant. The second time he'd kissed her! The first time it had been just a little peck on the lips. Nothing more. But now?! What the heck?
"G-Game?!" she gasped against his lips, pushing her hands up to force him away by shoving roughly on his chest. "What the heck?!" she yelled, her voice not entirely furious. A sudden flash of anger raced through her. His grip was too tight to let her push him away entirely. She took a breath before thrusting upwards with her knee, as hard as she could. If it connected, then he'd be hit right there.

Xeda raised an eyebrow at Cezar. God he was such a wimp. She looked away from him, eyebrow still raised when she heard Cheryl saying something in a language she couldn't understand. It was french, she knew that. But she didn't know a lick of it, anything she said was lost to her. He glanced over at Cezar who was focused on Cheryl now. She knew how much he hated the french language and France. Well, he didn't hate France, but he might as well have.

She looked away from him and back at Cheryl who fell flat on her face, bottle still in hand. She didn't know how she was able to stomach the mess, but she somehow had and she was a light-weight about it too. One bottle and she was out. How pathetic. She took her eyes away from her and just in time for her to catch Game's caution-to-the-wind kiss. Hm, she didn't expect him to kiss her here. She imagined it in a dank, dark, alleyway while they were off looking for something, but apparently it was at a Christmas party. Woopee. Ms. Jones didn't take it too nicely, though, because pulled right away from him, yelling and then aiming a knee right to his dick like a real woman. She didn't take it like a whore.
