Normally, first posts are so long. Uhm. I don't know what to say... there's nothing to say, really.

Evanescence Laeria Importante dragged her suitcase behind her, bag slung over her shoulder. She adjusted the black and lime green arm warmer on her left arm and came to a stop at the doorway of room 201. Well, looks like this is the one! She thought cheerfully, not really realizing the wooden plank she'd just trodded on was the door... thanks to Cheryl. But anyways, she walked into the room... and blinked. She dropped her suitcase, rubbed her eyes... and blinked again. This was her room?
There had been an explosion in here, that much was clear. Everything in the room was charred, but it started with a ring of black in the middle of the floor. From there, the explosion had happened, sending bits and pieces of the bed and other things flying towards the walls. The walls were dusted with some black powder - probably remnants from the explosive - and it reached all the way up to the ceiling. She gave a low whistle. Wow.
More curious than anything, the girl stepped into the debris field and crouched down. She reached down with two fingers and swiped at the black explosion-leftover-powder-stuff. A twinge greeted her, like touching a metal doorknob after shuffling your feet on a carpet. She quickly pulled her finger away and examined it. What is that stuff? She wondered, dusting her fingers off on her jeans, leaving a trail of prickles in their wake. Some sort of... poison, maybe? She laughed, despite herself. Well, this would definitely be an... interesting place.
