The Date(Game ONLEH) Empty
PostSubject: The Date(Game ONLEH)   The Date(Game ONLEH) EmptyTue Sep 28, 2010 4:49 pm

Adailia sighed, being forced into another OOC adventure by her RolePlayer. Again. Ugh. And she couldn't believe what she'd been forced to wear... A tight black dress without straps! It only went down to her knees, and it was slitted, showing off her left thigh. She blushed just thinking about it. And she never blushed. The aura-reader sat down in one plush chair, frowning. "Game?" she muttered, closing her eyes to let her senses roam out. Not here. Ugh. Ask a girl on a date then leave her hanging... So typically male...

That was the only thing she was totally bent about guys on. On all levels, they were cool. Their dialogue wasn't totally scripted. You didn't hear the same thing every day. They rarely held grudges. They were strong and tough and generally respected. All the girls were like worker ants, sucking up to the high sorority queen-ant. Or, in this case, king ant.

There wasn't one girl she could count that didn't have a flush of pink in her aura when Game showed up. Not one of them had the spine to resist his charms inwardly. Not even her. Some of the guys were crazy for him too. Weird.

The Date(Game ONLEH) Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Date(Game ONLEH)   The Date(Game ONLEH) EmptyTue Sep 28, 2010 5:14 pm

Game was surprised. Incredibly surprised. First of all, that his request for a date had been answered. And second of all, he has having trouble with his wardrobe. He rarely ever had problems dressing himself. But for tonight, he wanted it to be perfect. He had spent nearly an hour trying to find the perfect clothes. A fact he would never admit to anybody. And had had a short brain lapse when he forgot where he was meeting Adailia for this date. The Golden Spire. That was the name. He remembered it because he had asked the cute greeter for her phone number and had been chased off by another alien with a knife. It had been forever burned in his memory. But, the atmosphere of the Golden Spire was perfect. The way it reflected the stars down form the night sky, with the golden tapestries lining the wall. And a twirling roof top that led to a grand observatory. It was incredible. He just hoped Adailia would find it as fascinating as he did. And hopefully, not as much weirdness would go on.

It was evident by his steady and erratic gait that he was in a rush as he tied the final loop into his bow tie. It was the only classy thing about his look. From the gray graphic tee with a picture of a heart near the chest with an arrow striking through it, a patch of dark green briars near the bottom. To his loose jeans. And even worse were the grungy sneakers. Though he knew Adailia wouldn’t mind. She was a tomboy after all, she’d probably be wearing something similar to his own look. As he finally reached the Golden Spire, which was stacked upon three more restaurants. He felt relieved that the greeter was off duty, and he didn’t see any chef around wielding a hatchet. He could breathe a sigh of relief. A new alien stood before him, “Agamemnon Curtis Frasier, party of two.” He put an accent on the two, giving himself a boost of confidence. Yeah, that’s right, Game has a girlfriend. He thought to no one in particular.

The alien pulled back a red rope allowing him through the restaurant. His wide brown eyes scanned the room for the halo of brown hair, or the twinkle of ocean blue eyes. He was astonished when he actually did find her. Wearing a flattering black dress. He was tempted to ask if she stole it from Yin, but that was a comment best suited for Cheryl. He smiled brightly, walking as casually and ‘cooly’ as he could. Though, he only ended up tripping over what might have been a respectably alien and flying head first into the floor. He murmured a quick sorry to the upturned creature and sped on, his short lived moment of embarassment flying bye, replaced with the pleasant image of Adailia. Flipping his hair back into place, he sat down one of the low cushions that served as chairs at the “Golden Spire”. “Sorry I’m late. There was…” What were those lies that always appeared in silly old Earth movies? “Traffic?” Yeah, traffic on the side walk.

The Date(Game ONLEH) Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Date(Game ONLEH)   The Date(Game ONLEH) EmptyTue Sep 28, 2010 7:10 pm

The girl raised one eyebrow. Great. The one time she got all dressed up for-she shuddered-a date, and the said date decides to go with the rag-tag appearance she would have preferred. "Overdressed much?" she mumbled, blinking slowly and looking at him. "You're lying through your teeth." she said bluntly.

Yeah, portable lie detector right there in her brain where some freaky power had been implanted. She could tell by the faintest shimmer in his vibrant pink aura. "That aside...." She flipped her hair over one shoulder, a few little stands having been tickling her collar bone. The little motion exposed her neck. "Nice place. How in God's name could you afford it?"

She was being serious, but there was a good-natured gleam in her eyes. Yeah, she wasn't a total jerk all the time. Sometimes she could lighten up. Especially around so many relaxed auras.... "Pick-pocket? If so, you gotta tell me how to do it." She folded her arms on the table, leaning forwards so that she was looking him in the eyes.

The Date(Game ONLEH) Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Date(Game ONLEH)   The Date(Game ONLEH) EmptyTue Sep 28, 2010 7:24 pm

Game smirked nervously. First start of the date and he could tell Adailia was unenthusiastic about it. How had he stringed her along on this? Hm. Must of been when she was drunk. Or about to die. She was asking something about how he afforded this place. Looking back, he could of used his powers, or pick-pocketed. Truth be told, he wanted to lie right now and say he did do all those things. But, Adailia was a walking detective. Better to stay truthful. "I just asked the UWUC if they could spot me. Of course they did. Something about 'reproducing' being an important part of reviving the dead human race." he didn't really know what that meant, but it sounded strange. He looked down at the table for a second, cycling through various dinner conversation starters he could use. None of them seemed appropriate currently. And this date seemed to have kicked off on the wrong foot. Game looked up from the table, just soon enough to catch a glint in her deep blue eyes that swallowed him like the ocean they reminded him of.

He drummed his hands on the table, turning his gaze away to look around the restaurant, a pinkish red flush starting to come to his cheeks. Where are those waiters... They probably had another word for them in this alien world, but they must have someone serving them. That's when his fingers stopped hitting the table and touched air. Beneath his hand, rose some sort of platform that had a dark blue glow to it like some kind of touch pad. On it were various images of food items that could be purchased. "Cool." the same happened for Adailia. The food wasn't at all cool, it looked positively repulsive, though he cycled through it anyway. He was always up for something new, even if the food seemed dreadful. The invention wasn't though. No more tipping rude waiters or waitresses and no awkward conversations with them.

Adailia smirked, amused, as Game's aura flushed a dark, embarrassed pink. She listened to his explanation, looking almost bored. "I thought you were a technopath?" she muttered under her breath, sighing as she sifted through the menu. Ah! This looked edible. "Found something," she murmured, eyes flashing up to land on his concentrated features before down again. She tapped twice on the dish with one finger. A few moments later, on a silvery-tinted tray, the food was served. It looked similar to steak. Only... It was a different color. A light blue-ish with darker stripes thing. "I think it's some kind of tiger..." she growled, poking at it warily with a fork.

The Date(Game ONLEH) Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Date(Game ONLEH)   The Date(Game ONLEH) EmptyThu Sep 30, 2010 7:38 pm

Bored... Bored? Adailia was never bored. But the undeniable look on her face, and her dull brown eyes told him that she was. Well, he wasn't an all that interesting person. What did she want from him? A parade in her honor? He swallowed down this slowly growing wave of rage. And mindlessly poked at the ordering screen, not recognizing any of the dishes he had chosen, but not caring all that much. Leaning back on his cushion, he looked up at the ceiling, wondering what type of small talk could be used in a situation like this. They didn't have tutorials for dating... Did they? And as if struck by a lightning bolt of sheer brilliance, Game sat up right in his seat, looking at Adailia with a questioning and calm stare. "So, why did you finally agree to go on a date with me?" Was it because she actually liked him? It didn't seem like it, in all the date movies he had seen, the girl would stare into the boys eyes and they'd have a three minute long liplocking session. And he couldn't see any of that coming.

Before he knew it, his food had arrived and he stared at it. Unprepared for the sheer disgusting look of it. It looked like someone had taken a jellyfish bonded it with an octopus tentacle and served it in a meal. It oozed a strange vile green liquid that Game could only recognize as toxic. The odor was worse than the appearance. Beside his bowl of sludge, were two long metal staffs that were sharpened on both ends. He looked around, trying to see another alien eating the same thing as he was so he could see how to go about devouring the thing. He quickly deduced that the metal staffs were sort of like chopsticks and knives. He impaled one of the slimy creatures and lifted it off of the bowl. Watching it split into little cube-like sections that splashed back into the bowl, leaving him with one tofu like piece. Reluctantly, he brought it his mouth, instantly shocked by the horrible sourness of the dish. But also the underlying sweetness. Pleasant. But still disgusting.

Adailia looked up at the question. She shrugged, takinga bite of her food boldly. She almost instantly winced. "Ah, God what is this?" she muttered, chewing and swallowing. Then she blinked. "Uhm... Let's see..." She put her finger to her chin, as if she was in serious thought. Then she shrugged again. "Impulse. Wanted to." She said, frowning. "Why?"

"Right..." was all he said. Game frowned, looking down at his food that he stabbed at with the knives as if he were stabbing through Adailia's heart. He didn't even mind the revolting taste of the alien food, though he knew that he was going to throw it up eventually. Not sure why. He had eaten tons of bad food before, a couple of worms, and a maggots, and hadn't thrown up a thing. Maybe it was the sense of heartache. He rolled his eyes mentally. Oh well. Once this date was over with he could move onto the next pretty girl down the line. If Adailia didn't think this meant anything, why should he. It was just a meeting, for dinner, between... Hm. Not quite enemies, but also not friends. There was no word for what he felt for her. Certainly wasn't love. But what did she think about him? Did it even matter? Why did he not just walk out of the restaurant then? Questions that would remain unanswered for the time being.

Adailia frowned, sensing Game's sad anger. "What's wrong with you?" she asked, forcing a note of compassion into her voice to make the question seem less brutal. She really didn't want to be seen as that girl who'd tipped over a few tables/kicked a few aliens out the windows... "You got a date. On a different planet. Every guy's dream, right?" She gave a half-hearted chuckle, poking her food again.
