Personality: Her main goal is to become rich, famous, and powerful. But for right now she's just content with surviving. Ren's caring side is hidden somewhere deep inside her but it does still exist. As an Ilet who makes her living by killing, mugging, and cheating others she's not that unpleasant to be around. She never complains, and tries to go with the flow. She's extremely blunt and to the point. She's pretty giggly, even when she's shooting/stabbing someone to death. She's also rather innocent, yet not naive. She finds what she does terrible, but she says that she can't stop because by what she's seen and experienced it's the standard. Power over others brings her a strong, unexplainable, sense of fulfillment. Ren's pretty brave, but she does know how to pick her fights. She likes to think she's immortal. Her XCI-9000 (or simply 'her laser gun') is very small and very powerful. It leaves no visible wounds yet is able to kill most fully grown, fully armored aliens with one shot. She takes it everywhere, and even sleeps with it under her pillow.
When she's angry Ren becomes homicidal. She will just try to shoot you. :I She's very mature, but secrectly she finds solace in acting a bit like a child. Ren's not at all romantic. She's never actually loved someone besides her mother and father. She never learned about the birds and the bees either. *cough*
History: Ren's early life (or what she can remember of it) is set on a huge desolate planet called Xontikarma. Xontikarma was a desert planet, completely void of life except for the aliens that came to harvest the rich rocket fuel orminion. Ren's parents had become stranded on Xontikarma several years ago when their ship was taken over by a band of Galaxiors. They surrendered, two full grown Ilets with few firearms and a child were no match for five heavily armored Galaxiors.
Her parents made a living by travelling the empty expanse of land and trading with whomever they encountered. Ren's life was very tough. Her parents were strict and harsh with her, they would beat viciously her for her misgivings although they'd claim that it was for her well being. Surprisingly Ren's parents remained fair and honest over the years, never stealing or cheating any of their 'customers'. Their strong adherence to good morality (or mostly anyway) stemmed from an ancient religion that believed that if you are honest and true then when you die you will go to a place called 'Heaven', and that you will be blessed for doing good. This religion was very strict and required every minute of Ren's free time to study and meditate. The 'blessings' that the family had earned never came, in fact just the opposite happened. Soon Ren stopped believing in their religion. She began to feel bitter about being so overtly honest with everyone, even those who would stab you in the back as soon as you turn around. She thought it was unfair. Why could some disgusting cheating alien leave this hellhole and carry on with it's life while she had to stay here? Ren became sort of twisted as the years carried on, to rebel against her parents she started lying and cheating others that the small family band came across. She became rough and desensitized to the ploy of others. She grew apart from her parents. Eventually they declared her a 'lost cause'.
Ren remembered the earlier years of her life before Xontikarma. It was like a fairy tale, buildings as tall as the eye can see, Ilets, aliens, things everywhere. Ren desperately wanted to go back to Sigma, both to get away from the iron fist of her parentals and to start her own life. She wanted to be someone, wanted to meet others... When Ren was fifteen she took up one of her parent's few weapons and stole away one night towards the distant glow of rocket burners. She could tell by the flame that the model was basic, something that she could probably control. It was early morning when she came upon the alien ship. There was a single creature outside the ship. It lie there asleep, completely defenseless. Grimacing, she took up her blade and swiftly and silently killed the small creature. She then proceeded to take and drive the ship to the brightest star in the sky, to Sigma.
