Katesen sighed when a quantum level jerk of the ship told him that his ship had safely arrived at the coordinates he input. He looked at the bird in front of him and smiled. "Now, I had us just warped to some civilized planet so don't worry. Nothing will go wrong," he said as he ordered the ship to activate the shield around the ship mentally and ordered half of his fighters - which is two full wing of photon blaster and railgun equipped fighters that would easily take down a cruiser level of a vessel - to launch out and hover around the ship within the area of the shield.

The shield that the Vendi-Ulis uses allows things to go out of it put nothing can come into it because of the high density of the high velocity electrons that would crush the object. However, the shield closer to the ship is thinner and when a object is coming out from the inside, the ship clears a area of the shield with gravitonal device called Warper so that the object owuld pass safely.

There were something going on where he had come to hover. He wondered what it was.

PostSubject: Re: Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below   Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below EmptySat Nov 06, 2010 9:36 pm

Three Days After First Invasion

Caleb couldn't believe it. Kenji was alive. First of all, he had thought he had gotten rid of the boy for good when he had drugged him. But then Lobo had said that he had been kidnapped and she'd turn distraught, though he was secretly glad that he was gone, even though it ruined his PR as a hero, even if no one knew the truth about his secret. He had gotten the message at a refugee camp, where the humans resided until a proper evacuation could be given. His 'Marzlenets' had acted up then, the magnetic sand inside of them changing to form a shape that translated into a warning message from Kenji, a cry for help. He knew that the first, or was it second rule of being a hero was never to forget a cry of help. But how could he not feel like he owed the boy anything. He had almost ruined his life, he deserved whatever he was going through right now. But... He felt like he should do something!

Which brought him to his current predicament, running, not superfast, just normally away from a gang of Evoknights. A backpack slung over his shoulder. The creatures were so familiar, they reminded him of the monsters he had seen on TV that killed all of the humans. They were an image that poisoned his brain from the inside out. He looked behind him as an arrow of green light nearly lanced through his spine. Super reflexes told him exactly what was going to happen before it did. Bolts of the energy stuck behind him, as he bobbed and weaved among heaps of sharp metal as he looked for something, anything he could use to get out of this predicament. His plan had been to run, and steal a ship. Forgetting the fact that he had skimmed the first five pages of a piloting manual, instead of reading it or even practicing using a spaceship. He was running into this blind. Hehe... Strange analogy.

He leaped suddenly, crashing into a mound of garbage and raced up it, leaping from the mound and flailing his limbs wildly as he realized that he still couldn't fly. He tucked his legs in as he landed and kept running, behind him the mound exploded in a flurry of glowing and burning metal. Man, these guys never gave up. He slipped slightly but caught his balance. The thought of abandoning his friends on Sigma was evident in his mind, but he had left a note. One that probably would go unnoticed telling them of where he was headed, telling them that if he didn't come back, to tell Lobo that he at least tried to make her smile again. God, what was he doing? Grasping onto his last hopes of safety and all to recover his lost image of glory. But he couldn’t go on with a plagued conscious like this. He’d never forgive himself if he let this crime go unpunished. A bout of heroics might clear the slate.

He whirled around suddenly staring the two Evoknights in the face. “Take one more step forward, and you’re both dead.” He looked at the ground, noticing the patches of dirt that were left almost covered by sleek metal. They fired. It seemed like the bolts were moving through a timestream of their own, ten times faster than any snail. The distorted sound was almost too quiet as Caleb moved at hyperspeed, running forward between the shots, and whipping up a storm of metal debris that collided with the Evoknights, he slid to a halt in front of a jagged monolith with a grin. How he loved sonic speed, even if it did have some unwanted side effects. Like hyper friction that melted your clothes. Though thankfully, his clothes were more or less still in tact, if not a little singed in places. He looked back at the Evoknights who were beginning to regain consciousness. Stepping out of time, he moved around them, not even a blur, but invisible.

The towers of steel toppled around the Evoknights as Caleb walked away from them, his grin gone, knowing that they were dead. He stopped his arrogant strut, looking up at the sky where noticed. Space seemed to be distorted by the image of spaceship. Just his luck! But, it didn’t look like an Evoknight craft, not at all. He rubbed his chin suspciously. With a sarcastic grin he goaded himself into investigating. He raced around the Metal Graveyard, racing up a ladder of steel bits and boggles, he paused at the top, getting a clear look at the front of the spaceship. It definitelly wasn’t Evoknight, it would have killed him if it had been. He waved his hands, attempting to get noticed and knowing that using his powers would no doubt frighten anyone inside.

The bird grumbled slightly. Joy, a civalized planet. Like she hadn't gone to enough of those. Normally, she just ends up being hunted down for those who wanted to roast or fry her. Some just want to put her head on a plaque. Alriah blinked, ruffling up her feathers. She stood up, rocking back and forth a bit from sitting down for too long. The fairy spread her wings wide, streatching them. She squawked slightly while she took a couple of steps forwards, coming to a halt by the human. "Sigma." She stated, her feathers ruffling even more. "I've been here once before. It's full of metal graveyards, like the one you landed in, and metal cities. Though, something isn't right..." The Phoenix shook her head. Something was wrong, and she did not like it one bit.

Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below Empty
PostSubject: Re: Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below   Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below EmptySat Nov 06, 2010 10:00 pm

Even though he was not in his capsule, Katesen was clearly able to use the camera on his ship. And by using them, he was able to look out of the ship to see the metal graveyard that he was hovering over. He sighed. There was another civilization that couldn't have cleaned after itself properly. A pity actually, he thought as he looked at the bird in front of him.
"Say, you said you are fairy right? What's that? Where I came from, people had myths among magical beings but there was no mention of fairies I believe I guess they are real, not mythical, seeing that I can see you right now," he said as he looked around the planet until he spotted a little figure. "And besides, what can't be right here?" he smiled as he looked around.

The figure was on top of a metal hill. Weird. It seemed to be waving at him. Then he trained his cameras around the hill and saw that there were things climbing up the hill with weapons in their hands. They seemed to be hunting him and they didn't seem to ... happy or good sided.

Then his cameras noticed that there were squads that were coming out towards the figure. 'They are after him,' he thought. "Okay, maybe I was wrong. Someone is being chased down there."

Obviously someone had sounded the alarm.

Without thinking much, he ordered his fighters to protect the figure on top of the metal hill. The fighters, all AI, stopped in their track around their orbit of the spaceship and flew down into the planet's atmosphere. Equipped with the latest Vendi-Ulis shield and armor as well as weapons, it took them less than twenty seconds to pass thorugh the thick black atmosphere where it snowed black. A wing of fighters used a small boost, propelling them forward faster than the other fighters. These fighters were the Vendi-Ulis Carrier Scout Squad. Equipped with light railguns using 10 mm antimatter explosive hybrid shells and without much weight, they were really fast and agile.

They scooped down into the skies of the Sigma and fired at the figures with 99% accuracy. The five of them fired simultaneously at the figures, the Evoknights, causing explosions through the metal graveyard without a care for the residents around them. But thankfully, the explosions were precisely aimed and small that there was no casualties for the attack. That attacked killed few Evoknights because the railguns only shot one shell per two seconds for precise aiming.

Then came the Heavy Escorts. The Escorts were equipped with exterior shield generators and multiple railguns as well as blasters for close-combat. They swooped down into the metal graveyard and fired multiple rounds of shells that killed off the rest of the Evoknights. Then they spreaded out into the rest of the Metal Graveyard, looking for similar targets. That was their main protocol: Kill of similar enemies unless marked friendly.

Two of the Heavy Escorts remained behind, hovering over the figure without generating the least bit of wind. "You okay?" the AI's mechanical voice asked. "You were being chased, if you didn't know."

Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below Empty
PostSubject: Re: Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below   Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below EmptySat Nov 06, 2010 10:15 pm

Relief was obvious on Caleb's face, his trick wasn't as fatal as he had thought it would be, it seemed Evoknights were tougher than he could imagine if they could take all that pressure. He watched as mysterious, what were they called in the futuristic comic books? Robot drones. Yeah, it was a short firefight on his behalf, that he was overjoyed to see the 'good guys' as he called them winning. Back up. You could always count on back up. But these drones... He had never seen them before, on Sigma there weren't much fighting robots, most robots only did menial tasks not helping fight in wars. So who was the head honcho, who was controlling them? The spaceship of course, but who was on the spaceship. For the hundredth time he wished for the power of flight, he could just jump and be inside of the spaceship in a moment.

He was shocked from his thoughts as he realized a monstrous, yet mechanized voice was speaking to him. It was a stupid question that the robot asked. He wondered if they were able to differentiate between stupid questions with obvious answers or intelligent questions. He doubted it. "I'm fine..." he replied dodging the second question. Of course he knew he was being chased. What idiot didn't know when the 'chaser' was firing lasers at them. "Who are you people?" he questioned with an arched eyebrow and frown. He looked up at the spaceship, wondering how far of a jump would it be at superspeed. Hopefully super speed drifted into a super lift off... Nah, he couldn't risk it. It could be some sort of laser, and he didn't want to make a nude first impression. Hehe. I crack myself up. he joked inside of his head.

He wished he had a different power right now, something that would tell him what was going on, because all he felt right now was confusion. Confusion at the spontaneous arrival of robots to save his life, and that omnipresent spaceship that lurked above. Most of the Evoknights had broken free from Space and entered Sigma. They were mostly ground ships or carriers that deployed more and more troops into more populated area. There was barely enough people to fight back. These robots could make a difference, the thought gave him a glimmer of hope that was crushed by a thought of Kenji. He had to save him first, this war came second. Kenji, however mean and rude he was, still was needed. So were the other humans, and he was the only one that could get them there in time. Superspeed meant a super lifesaver. He shook his head.

"Never mind that. I need to speak to you. Take me to your leader." He spoke recalling the age old alien myth that all they wanted to do was talk to your superiors.

PostSubject: Re: Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below   Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below EmptySat Nov 06, 2010 10:40 pm

The AI looked at the boy and tilted its camera. “This creature looks like Katesen. I wonder why…” the AI said. It was using a pronoun and referred to itself. It produced a hover board from its belly. The hover board had a chair on it, but the chair was designed for sentient beings must taller than the humans. The board hovered next to the boy and waited patiently. “Hop on boy. Nothing bad will happen.”

“And boy,” the second AI fighter said as the rest of the fighters came back. “Do not ever talk to us as if we are some mindless robot AI’s. Is that understood?” the AI said. “Katesen’s parents developed us from those ancient AI’s. They are different from us and every aspect. We even have gender for the Qati-Gui’s Sake!” the AI said. It performed a quick scan on it “Superhuman. Our leader, Katesen, is a creature like you as well with powers like you do. Do not attempt anything foolish or you will surely die,” the AI said.

Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below Empty
PostSubject: Re: Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below   Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below EmptySat Nov 06, 2010 10:53 pm

Caleb flinched at the... Well, he couldn't describe it now that it was yelling at him, surely not a robot, and obviously not human. Who was Katesen was the most important question at hand, the robot had said that he looked like this... Katesen. He seemed to be revered as some sort of big shot. He must be the leader then... thought Caleb with a slight frown. It wasn't a bad thing that he had something in common with this... 'important figure', it was just the thought of this persons powers and what gave him the power to control and army. "I'm not 'boy', he replied. My name is Caleb Harlem Wright." he said pointing a thumb at himself as he reluctantly bordered the machine that would take him to the spaceship. What kind of technology was so advanced that it gave robots personalities, and that only led him to more and more questions about this peculiar being. Like what a Qati-Gui was.

He wished these alien cultures came with a manual to describe every single encounter in excruciating detail. Right now he was just confused, totally and utterly confused. He glanced at the hoverboard, it was strangely reminiscent to that of an Ichzer, though why it had a huge chair planted in the middle he didn't know. He guessed it was for 'comfort'. He searched his vast vocabulary of nerdy sci-fi movies to find a way to describe what was going on. He had never quite seen a movie where the hero was willingly abducted by aliens and then taken to another human. Odd. He thought TV covered all subjects.

The last of the fighters returned from clearing the area of any hostiles. With the last of the fighters here, they were ready to go. "Right, Caleb," the mechanical voice of the AI said. "You might as well as sit down on the chair now. It's not for comfort, by the way. It's how we escort people. We cleared the area of any of those spiky lizards but the last fighter that just returned reported an incoming wave of cruiser-sized warships. Staying here won't help you at all," it said as the fighters formed a circle centering the fighter near Caleb.

Katesen watched Caleb through the camera of the fighter. "I never saw a species like myself before. I was grown in a alien civilization that calls themselves the Vendi-Ulis, you see," he said to the Phoneix. "How wonderful," he said as he observed Caleb. "I wonder why I was born there now. I never gave much thought about that," he said as he pulled his finger out of the control console and stood up. "I must now meet the refugee who wants to see me." He walked away silently.

The bird blinked a couple of times. She completely missed what the boy had said earlier. Instead, she was looking out a near-by window at the seen. "So, the humans have taken Sigma up as their new, temperary home, hn?" The Phoenix muttered. At Katesen's new words, she drew her attention away from the window at towards the boy. "You grew up in an alien civilization? From what I remember, all humans grew up on Earth. Very few were sent off to explore their solar system, but they had to return to Earth. I should have paid more attention to those leaving Earth once the year Three Thousand came around." The large bird ruffled her feathers a bit more. Even while they were still in the ship, which was warmer than Sigma, the Phoenix still found it cold. She liked those planets that were covered in warm fire better than those which were covered in cold metal. Wait a minute... There was a human who was coming on board... This could only lead to trouble. "Wait for me!" The bird squawked as another soft, flame-like glow formed around her. Instead of making her invisable again, the glow turned her into a human. Well, not really a human, seeing how there were slightly pointed ears hidden behind her orange hair, but you get the point. The now-human Phoenix started after the 'near-human', picking up her pace once she noticed that there was quite some distance between them.

Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below Empty
PostSubject: Re: Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below   Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below EmptySun Nov 07, 2010 2:00 pm

Dostaria climbed over the endless mountains of rubble. Not surprisingly the place had grown almost tenfold after the attack. Not that rubble had been moved here, it just fell around it on all sides. Although she wasn't sure, she thought she saw she occasional bony hand sticking up from the mass of metal. So many had died, the number made her head reel. The mysterious invaders had simply killed as many Sigma dwellers as they could. She had to admit, she kind of admired their strategy. This was how you took over a planet. It was cruel, evil, ruthless, but it worked so well.

Dostaria hugged around the mounds of metal waste. She was looking for Caleb, so she could stop him from doing whatever it was he was doing. He'd get himself killed, she was sure of it. It was her turn to save his life. Well, that's what she thought anyway.

THERE!

There was Caleb, on the top of a heap of stuff, waving around like a skinny tree caught in a hurricane. She sighed. Why was she doing this? He'd manage to get himself killed somehow, no matter what she did. What was he waving to anyway? Then she noticed the ship. It wasn't one of the invaders' ship. Hmm... Caleb was then escorted by some robots onto the ship. Dostaria shook her head.

ooc: Not a very good post. T_T

PostSubject: Re: Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below   Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below EmptySun Nov 07, 2010 2:28 pm

Caleb frowned. He had never realized till now, but he really hated heights. He hated looking over the edge of the hoverboard chair and seeing death below. He wondered if he had vertigo, not a very heroic quality, but all superheroes had some sort of weakness. He only wished he hadn't learned his so early in his career. Ugh, floating made him want to vomit, though he wondered if the robot would think of it as some sort of insult to him. Cautiously, he looked down towards the ground, interested to know if any other Evoknights had arrived. They most likely would after hearing sounds of a scuffle. He had learned that there were quite advanced, a head unit would always keep in constant communication with other units, and if they found someone who resisted, they would all come running to fight the resistance. It was effective, and frightening at the same time. He was so glad that he was leaving. Or. Hopefully leaving.

What he saw was definitely no Evoknight, he was almost certain that Evoknight females didn't have blue hair, they were just scaley and very scary, pretty much the same as any other female. "Dostaria?" he questioned out loud, in a voice that wouldn't reach the girl. For a moment, his vertigo wore off, if fear of heights could wear off. "Hey, wait, I know her!" he said with a smirk, touching the irritable AI and pointing at the girl. He cupped his hands around his mouth like a bull horn, even though it really didn't do anything to amplify his shrill voice. "DOSTARIA!" he shouted, waving like a madman at the girl. Wondering why she was even here. Had she found his note? Well, if he wanted anyone to find the note it'd be Fenn, but she was just as good, he guessed. A decent sidekick at the very least.

"Hey, can you like, swoop down and get her. I wanna see what she's doing here." he asked the robot. Feeling so odd in the process. Who talked to robots? Caleb did!

The AI looked at the human with its camera. 'Hey boss,' the AI sent a messge to his master. Katesen stopped in his track. 'Yes?' he questioned his loyal servant. 'The kid wants another one of its kind to be aboarded.'

Katesen sighed as he moved slowly to another control console and stuck his finger in it. Then he ordered his ship to use the new beaming technology to beam the girl and the boy to the deck of the visitors. Which was the fifth level in the twenty story high carrier. The computer used the fighters as a painter, targetting both the boy and the girl before it locked them. The AI fighter turned to Caleb and let out a beep before it changed its mechanical voice into that of a more mechanical drone-like voice.

"Beaming Process Stage 2 has been complete. Please hold onto your belongings or they will not be transferred with you to the designated coordinates," the AI said. "In 5...4...3...2...1... Activating the Transferring Beam Modules," it beeped loudly. The two humans were surrounded by a beam of black light that obliterated them from other's view and the light itself disappeared soon afterwards.

The two huamns found themselves on the floor of a VERY BIG and LARGE room where few Vendi-Ulis were waiting for them. Two of the Vendi-Ulis had physical attribute enhancing suits and the other three had food, water, and a pill.

Dostaria smiled as Caleb recognized her. She couldn't hear his voice, but she could see his flailing at her. Just as she was preparing to wave back he was surrounded in a smothering black light. She yelped. What's going on?! She was wondering just what she'd gotten herself into when the darkness faded and she could see that she was in an incredibly large room. She looked around, bewildered. She had obviously just been beamed into the ship, but how? Dostaria had never heard of such technology before. She smiled when she saw Caleb. Then she saw the several human-like creatures walking about carrying various things. She looked back to Caleb. "What's going on?" Why wasn't she more scared? She had just been teleported to a strange ship, and she had no idea how to get off. She supposed she could scare all of these creatures into insanity, but she didn't get the feeling that they wanted to hurt her.

Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below Empty
PostSubject: Re: Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below   Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below EmptySun Nov 07, 2010 7:40 pm

You'd think Caleb would be used to weird things, like being surrounded in a black fog and teleported. But, no. He wasn't. In fact, he'd was freaked beyond belief. But, with all the strength he could muster he attempted to control himself. He wondered why Sigma didn't have teleporters, were they outlawed or dangerous for some type of adverse effect like brain cancer? He hoped not. Dealing with that plus the onset of teen acne, and some losers teleporting brain cancer machine. But what was even more unsettling was the look of food in the hands of the humanoid creatures. Really, they looked almost completely human, hardly a flaw on in their form that differentiated them from his own flesh and blood. They were stretching their hands towards him in the most freaky of manners. He took a step back, wondering what they were staring at, and why they were staring like that. "Dostaria..." he said warily, backing up towards her.

He was slowly wishing for the comfort of the now familiar AI. The one that had saved him in the first place, not these strange replicas of humans that had long since perished. Were they mocking him? "What are you doing here," he asked, he couldn't exactly be happy to see her, he could have gotten her into danger. No more danger than what was down there on Sigma, where people were being incinerated or shot to death. Even the humans weren't safe and they were supposed to be top priority. Ships couldn't leave without being stopped by the huge carriers that now surrounded Sigma, things looked bleak alright, but he tried to busy himself with other things besides learning about the Evoknight battle tactics. They were the enemy of course, fighting the enemy wasn't his thing. All he did was kick butt and ask questions later. Or run away as fast as he could. Which was what he was doing now sort of...

OOC: Rambled on after a while... No muse.

PostSubject: Re: Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below   Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below EmptySun Nov 07, 2010 8:38 pm

Katesen watched his two 'visitors' from far away. The room they were in were quite large so it took him some time to cross it. But while as he crossed the room, he noticed few things. First thing he noticed was that the two humans were confused and freaked out. Perhaps the teleport was too much for them. But the boy was reluctant to come on the hover board, he saw, and the girl was pretty far away. So he had used the quickest way he knew, and the safest, to get them here. But obviously, their place didn't have any kind of molecular teleportation or method of travel. And second, they were freaked out by the Vendi-Ulis. The Vendi-Ulis were also freaked out because they loved it when they saw something knew. Two superhumans were new to them. The fact that they were like him was enough to freak the hell out of these guys. Freaked out in a good way of course.

He crossed the room within a minute while he noticed these things before he came in front of them. He sat down and smiled. "I'm their leader, Katesen. Call me Kat if you want," he said as he took the food and water plate from the Vendi-Ulis with care being ordering them to leave them. He motioned them to sit down before he sat down himself and sat the plate down in front of him. "Now," he said as he sat in relaxed position. "Tell me what you wanted to see me for."

Her shoulders drooped slightly when he didn't seem happy to see her. "What am I doing here?" She repeated. She frowned, for some reason she didn't want to answer his question. Probably because the answer sounded stupid. A superhero like Caleb didn't need someone to protect him, especially someone like Dostaria, but despite this she found herself stepping slightly in front of Caleb, acting as a shield between him and the Vendi-Ulis. She didn't think them dangerous, but for some reason Caleb did. That was enough for her.

"Katesan, it's a pleasure to meet you." She bowed. For some reason Katesan made her uneasy. Dostaria looked over to Caleb. What exactly did they want to see him for?

Caleb looked at Dostaria confused for a moment, why was she bowing? Was this boy some kind of royalty or was it just common courtesy. Whatever the cause, he mimicked her movement with an over exaggerated dip. He saluted the boy handsomely with a wide grin that split his face. "As we say in my country, Ciao." He said, his eyes darting from the boy Katesen to the girl behind him. Was that his sister? Well, they didn't look alike, not at all really. He ignored this assumption, now focused on the questioned asked by Katesen. Why he was here. Ugh... That was something he wasn't exactly comfortable with describing to people he had just now meant. And he didn't know how Dostaria would react. She was the only friend he had right now, and he needed her if he wanted to save Kenji. Maybe, he could just tell half the truth, yeah that always worked. And it wasn't exactly lying, now was it.

"My f-fr-friend is in trouble right now. He was abducted by a bounty hunter and sent to Weavon. I got a message from him, I think two days ago asking me to come and save him. Being the hero that I am, I knew I couldn't let him stay in slavery so I decided to come and save him. That's why I need your ship." He murmured, folding his hands in a prayer like motion, and then pointing both index and middle finger at Katesen. "The fate of a human boy, such as yourself, hangs in the balance. All I'm asking is that you do not let evil win. And instead, let good prevail and help me on my quest to save my friend. Please." he begged, trying his best to be as persuasive as possible.

Katesen frowned when Caleb looked behind at the Phoneix. ‘Hmm, he must be thinking about something,’ he thought but he let it aside. He turned to Dostria to answer her first. “You are here because you have been targeted friendly by my AIs and there were more of those … creatures coming,” he said as he shrugged. “When there is danger and the friendly is in the area, my ship’s automatic settings beam them up. Which applies to you. But I don’t really know if you are friendly. I set the AIs targeting system for possible allies maybe too low. I’m going to need to change that a bit as well as their talkativeness,” he said. Then he turned to Caleb. And he let the words he had heard from him. He let them sink in.

“I find the idea extremely … intriguing and revolting at the same time. I don’t just go around saving people, ‘Caleb,’” he said, letting the unfamiliar name roll out of his tongue. But it sounded more like ‘Cay Lab.’ He put a mental note to get the accent into the new clone. “But I also find it interesting because for one, I like the idea of chasing after a bounty hunter. I never liked them,” he said as he stood up and walked over to the console. He talked to the console for a second, yelled at it, and then slammed it shut. Then he turned back to the two humans. “The ship is getting ready to jump into hyperdrive,” he said as he walked over to them, picked up the pills from the plate, and gave them one each. “Our hyperdrive involves multi-dimensional fusion for FTL travel. If you don’t have certain substances in you, you rip apart because of the multi-dimensional pull your body feels,” he said as he gave them the cups of water, one each. He turned to Anriah. “I’m amazed that you didn’t get ripped to shreds,” he smiled.

He had meant to kill her, but the fascinating creature didn’t die. She truly was made out of energy like his computer and he had guessed. That was the only thing the dimensional pull didn’t rip apart.

He turned back to the two. “Better eat it now, we’re jumping in 20 seconds and I don’t want to clean up bodies and reanimate them as clones. That’s expensive.”

The fairy grunted at Katesen's comment. She crossed her arms against her chest. "Of course I didn't get ripped to shreds. If I did get close to death anyway, I would just combust into flames and be reborn from the ashes. However, I am not effected by the confusing technology of this time." The girl lifted one of her hands and waved it around at the all of the ship near the last part of her statement. Anriah was seriously confused by everything the humans and near-human was talking about. It really was easier back in the time of Ancient Rome. Wait, he was amazed at her not dying during the hyperdrive? Was he trying to get her killed? The Phoenix locked her red gaze on the near-human, turning the normal gaze into a quizzical stare. Just what is he trying to do?

ooc: Uber failed post because it isn't as fun in her human form. DX Plus, I have to go to school.

So this little mission was a-go. Dostaria looked from Caleb to Kat, then back to Caleb. Bounty hunter? Weavon? Once again, Dostaria closed her eyes in deep thought. Taking Kat's pills was the last thing she wanted to do, but getting ripped to shreds wasn't any higher on her list of priorities. Taking the pill was the only thing she could do now, either that or die. She grabbed the pill and swallowed hard, drinking no water in the process. She looked a little pleadingly at Caleb, wondering again what she had gotten herself into.

"Cay Lab? It's Cay-lub. Lub." His hand moved, or to any normal person it would seem as if he hadn't moved at all. But as he swallowed the pill with the last drop of water, he moaned. "Delicious... But thanks for caring." he said with a smile that hid his fear. What if this warp drive thing really did kill him. He found himself groping for Dostaria's hand, out of fear and necessity to have a friend on board a foreign ship. Listening to Katesen's conversation with the girl, he wondered if he was to be trusted. It didn't seem so as he acted as if he didn't give a hoot about her, or if she survived or not. Please... Please, let this be the right choice. Katesen seemed like the adventurous type, not at all showing fear at his mention of the people they would be facing. The Weavon Government, a slave empire, and a bounty hunter that could take out one of the most powerful humans and Kenji easily. When he caught Dostaria's look, he smiled, tightening his grip on her hand. "Don't worry... Thins are going to be all... Alright. I'm certain." He was of course, not certain.

Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below Empty
PostSubject: Re: Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below   Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below EmptyWed Nov 10, 2010 8:26 pm

Dostaria returned Caleb's smile with confidence. She trusted him, probably more than she should have. If he thought everything would be okay, then it would be. And the little hand squeeze didn't hurt either. "Gamma radiation? Bu-" The next thing she knew she was being handled, rather roughly, by Katesan. Just as she was about to say something in protest she was flying. She and Caleb were ripped apart midair. Yellow ribbons flailing, Dostaria sailed through the air, straight for a closed door. Everything seemed to happen in slow motion. She closed her eyes and shielded her face with a grimace as she prepared for impact. "Oof!" She opened her eyes, she was in the arms of one of those strange near-humans. She squirmed, wanting to be put down. Luckily she had landed rather comfortably, unlike Caleb. Normally such an instant would be humorous, but now it seemed like the soberness of this mission was setting in. They could both very well die. But for some reason Dostaria awsn't scared, not that scared anyway.

ooc: EDIT: I guess Katesan deleted his post... IDK, but whatever it is it was there and not it's not... JUST PUT THIS RIGHT AFTER HIS NEXT POST.

Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below Empty
PostSubject: Re: Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below   Hovering in the sky while those on Earth suffers below EmptyWed Nov 10, 2010 8:33 pm

“Alright,” Katesen said as the ship shuddered at the quantum level which only capsuleers like himself could feel. The ship’s structure shook about the distance of 10 nanometer, something even standard light microscopes will not be able to see clearly.

The whole thing really got him exciting. After all, this was going to be his 500th battle, a record for him. “While we go to that planet of yours, mind telling me about the organization that took your friend? If it’s a small bounty hunter’s organization, I doubt that they can destroy even one of my fighters,” Katesen said as he stood up and picked up the occupants of the room – the two human. “We got ten seconds before this room is flooded with Gamma radiation,” he said with a huge sadistic smile on his face as he took a stance and threw them at the door which was closed.

The door remained closed until the last second, when it opened at the two humans fell into the arms of two Vendi-Ulis with soft padding in their arms. Katesen whistled when he saw how they ended up. The girl ending up in a seating position while the boy … not so comfortable position.

While on the other side of the planet, a small Magnate-class frigate placed a passive target and a marker on the blue carrier. The captain of the ship was a man with droopy emo-like white hair and butler-like uniform with a cross on his right chest. This man was Caedas reu Qolios, who has found what he had been searching for over several decades. But he currently didn’t know how to approach the problem so he decided to follow him as he cloaked his ship and remained in the shadows as he thought of how to greet his long-lost brother. Well, technically, he left only a hundred years ago, so it wasn’t actually that long for a Xti who almost lived eternally.

But the problem here was that the man he saw was not his brother. His brother was no savior; he was a genius and a destroyer. He was cold and calculating. He killed mercilessly for no reason whatsoever and enjoyed the pain in his victim’s face. The man that just rescued the humans wasn’t his brother. He couldn’t have calculated a plan this fast to conquer a planet he has never been to. No, this was too fast. There were more evidence to prove that as well.

There was just no way a genius like his brother would use some crappy old carrier! Last time he saw his older brother in battlefield or anything close, he had a titan-class planet sized ship with over 10000 men aboard it!

So he decided to remain low, thinking why his brother was here like this and why he looked so young and why he didn’t have all his battle scars on his chest, eyes and forehead.
And he learned this by sending a ‘virus’ into the system.

Katesen looked at the camera. And in it, he saw a virus of a new kind. It was as if it was a living computer cell, complete with genetic materials and membranes to protect itself. It was truly a remarkable creation. Capsuleers knew what was remarkable in a computer when he saw it. He also felt it probe through the ship’s database, specifically for his data.
He would let this ... troublemaker be, to see how this would all end.

[OOC: This should be above kiwi's post, I'm posting because either it isn't there or I can't see it]

OOC: Weird... o.o

"No, I don't usually keep tabs on bounty hunter orga-Hey!" shouted Caleb as he was not-to-gently shoved away from the boy. His explanation, something about Gamma Radiation, the stuff that made the Hulk? So cool... It made him want to be in the way when it did flood in. Maybe he'd turn into a big green monster too. But no, he was whipped up by some humanoid creature and taken away with Dostaria. "This is so weird..." He dropped out of the aliens grip, bouncing to a standing position in a moment and brushed himself off. Where was a tour guide when you needed one? He looked at Dostaria for a moment, then back at what he could call his kidnapper or his teammate. Katesen. He seemed to be pouring over the controls in an intense manner. "Something up...?" he asked.
