"The Bridge," as it was referred to, was a slightly run-down concrete structure in Weavon's Adhara territory, just outside a large town controlled mainly by the Hunter's Trade Union. Located nowhere near a bridge, the structure was a sort of congregation place for mercenaries, gamblers, and other 'underground' people. It was basically a casino and bar smushed into one, frequented by various gangs and mercenary groups and people with simply nothing else to turn to. The casino host was a merc himself, a reputable hacker and metal man.

Mendoza strolled through The Bridge, his large titanium feet clanking loudly against the floor. He kept watchful of rival mercenaries, ready to kill if necessary. There didn't seem to be anyone worth his time here, so the cyborg simply kept clanking and finally sat at a n indiscriminate table. The Bridge was one of few places he enjoyed in the world; nearly everyone here was a lone wolf that would murder anyone on their hitlist without a second thought, even if they were in this very room. Yet, they all bonded together in the threat of an outside legal force. Kind of like a group of hobos.

Engines spewed fire and toxic gas like rain over the denizens of the town. The flames and smoke blotted out the sky, and the hum of a thousand growling machines muted everything. A trio of warships, sculpted out of menace drove a jagged line through the noon day sky. They didn't glide through the air like more advanced ships, instead, they huffed and puffed, throwing their all into surviving like a bird that's wings had been clipped. Their target was clear. "The Bridge". The Stygian rockets dove like hawks towards the base, their engines cut off and slowed them for a crude landing. The Galaxior's were not the biggest of ships. The size was akin to that of a jumbo airplane, but nevertheless, when they hit the ground, gravel and soot erupted through the air, the ship seemingly homed in on the front door of the building, it cut in with rays flaring, incinerating anyone not lucky enough to jump out of the way.

A fissure of earth led straight to the now settled machine that lay in front, dwindling flames, and torn pieces of metal lay in the wake of the great machine, that's black cockpit shot open. The shadow of a man eased himself out of his resting place. Kargagna, the admiral himself, stepped on to the nose of his war machine like it was a pedestal. "To think I've been looking for this place for years..." A brown cloak blanketed his frame from head to toe, and a hood covered the lizards face. A scaly claw shifted underneath the robe, and an obviously worn out pistol poked out of the aliens cloak. "I'd stay where you are for now." His voice was like gravel in a blender, and even with the sickly tone, he still commanded respect.

An alert in his head forcibly caught Mendoza's attention as a foreign aircraft neared him and setteled just outside The Bridge. That wasn't exactly a regular parking spot. The shape of the aircraft on his sensors was very intriguing, though. As it landed, the door to the structure was blown loudly open and banged across the concrete floor. Then, bits of the floor fell away into nothingness, which made many of the people inside jump to their feet to say the least.

Mendoza made a sound as close a robot can make to a sigh as possible and heaved his eight foot stature to his feet. He studied the beaten spaceship. It had definitely seen better days. He had half-expected a witty, overconfident police officer to come, but the metal shards sticking out of its hull suggested otherwise. And even more intrigiuing, a jedi-like figure stood on the nose, pointing a gun at him. His frame seemed slightly familiar, but his scanners couldn't quite place who it was.

It knew that most everyone here was armed with weapons, right? And here he was, on mercenary turf, ordering them around. Silently, Mendoza scanned the ship, matched it with a Galaxior design in his database, cross-referenced the bit of the pistol the figure was holding, concluded it, to, was of a Galaxior design, put 2 and 2 together, and concluded the newcomer was most likely a Galaxior. Gasp!

Then he narrowed it down to the one Galaxior he had ever met and allowed to live. The probability a proud UWUC officer would come to these places was rather slim, but possible. Even still, Mendoza began to recognize the posture. Was it really the admiral?

"What brings you to this place, Galaxior?" He said, keeping his metallic voice indiscriminate. More questions than that began to fill his titanium head.

Kargagna shifted his stance to look at the metal man. He noted the tense posture of everyone within the hall. They looked like statues, hands moving closer and closer to their holstered weapons. A regular old fashioned stand off. Kargagna purposely turned away for a second, expecting someone to have the courage to try and he was rewarded for his daring exploit with a victim. A tiny glimmer of steel reflected in his golden eyes, and he spun around in an instant, matching his first enemies pistol with his own. "This is a hold-up. Guns on the table in front of you. If I have to, I'll put hole the size of my fist in all of your skulls, starting with this pathetic mans life."

Without even moving, Kargagna replied to the robot with a stern growl. "That is Admiral Kargagna to the likes of all of you. The reason I come here is for revenge, and I think that you robbers, murderers and all around scum can help me with this, and in turn, it will help you. My fellow comrades, the UWUC politicians were idiots not to believe me when I warned them about the threat of the humans survival. Most of you have probably seen the damage they have caused. I've seen their powers up close and personal, they can, and they will kill you in an instant if they get the chance." Kargagna's claws twitched on his trigger, the slightest hint of anxiety seeping through his hard shell. If Kargagna were a human, he'd be sweating uncontrollably, and wouldn't anyone be nervous if they were confronted with a room full of enemies? But then again, Kargagna had this all planned out.

He rehearsed all of the steps within his mind three times over. "Now... We can cooperate, and together bring down this menace before they bring us down. Or.... I can finish all of you worthless worms off right now.'

The Admiral had to be either incredibly stupid, or incredibly brave, Mendoza thought as he considered the situation. Generally, Admirals didn't get their rank from stupidity. And he wanted to eradicate humans, too. It was apparent the lizardman didn't realize there was a human right under his nose.

He didn't bother removing the titanic weapon magnetically attached to his back, and pretty much no one else did, either. "My apologies regarding your rank, Admiral..." He said coldly, not meaning what he said at all. "...I'll be happy to lend my services, presuming I get a satisfying payment." He wasn't afraid of Kargagna, not at all, so it felt regular to demand. Society revolved around money. Most mercs felt the same.

But not all. He watched motionless as several of them raised their weapons at the Galaxior, some having pistols and rifles, some having other less conventional weapons. After all, who walted in here and ordered them around on their own turf?

"I don't like that tone, lizard!" Someone called out, leveling their rifle. "Prepare to die!"

The alien's heart pumped like a piston as one of his victims screamed at him. Instantly, Kargagna held the trigger down. All he could do was spray and pray. He didn't even look at the alien he had been aiming at, he knew he had died by the splotch of blue blood that now stained his cloak. Kargagna ducked as the first laser nearly took one of his horns off. Kargagna fell backward, collapsing into his seat with the burning bolts chasing him. An orange pod shield collapsed over Kargagna, protecting him from the bolts that at the very least bounced off, or dissipated harmlessly. He lizard man growled angrily, releasing his choke hold on his weapons trigger. The pod of his machine was a peculiar one with eight different controls, Kargagna thrust his misshapen claws out in front of him, grasping the levers in both hands. He jerked forward, his lifeline- the plasma shield -slowly beginning to wear out against the onslaught of lasers and other weaponry.

Kargagna felt the vibrations of his ship, as its rockets flared, preparing to take off into the night. He nodded at the robot, he doubted that he could trust the robot, anyone that worked with the HTU wasn't exactly a good ally. But from experience, he knew that they could fight like hell. If he survived, Kargagna was sure he would see him again. The world around him blurred together as his ship accelerated, shooting it through walls and people alike, shredding its hull with jagged pieces of metal and breaking its wings. He frowned at the smear of blood that now blocked his screen. He cranked a knob upward, tilting his craft into the air, now free from any obstructions the spaceship hit full speed, leaving a trail of smoke and flames behind. The speeding comet broke the sound barrier like a pane of glass, and behind it trailed the remainder of Kargagna's army. He really did live up to the image of a pirate at this moment, his face still concealed by his hood. His ragtag group of soldiers and weaponry, out to do nothing but destroy.

Mendoza spun around and slammed a nearby table out of his way to try to avoid the ship blasting toward him, but it was no use. With a camera lens located on the back of his head, he saw a frequent accomplice of his get hit by the giant hunk of metal, shearing the Wormholemancer in half as it accelerated. Shit, he thought dryly. He cared for no single life in the entire universe, but there were times when he called vengeance for fallen hunters.

In took a mere second for the spaceship to reach Mendoza, but by that time, he had activated small jet-like boosters on his feet and back, flipping into the Galaxior ship and landing on a small stump of a wing. Using his power, he pulled several trillion particles of dust and debris that was thrown about, recreated them into various tough elements, and glued himself to the spaceship's hull. Another half-alien half-robot had done the same, and then another, but both were blown to kingdom come as the speed of sound was broken.

Mendoza reinforced his hand into the spaceship's metal frame more, but as speed increased even more, sending streaks of flame across the hull, his hand was sheared from his wrist. He didn't even try to grab on again, instead just let himself fall endlessly to the ground below, eventually slowing himself with his aforementioned jets, and had no choice but to leave his hand behind, still connected to the Galaxior ship.
