Destination IDK

Miktel dropped out of hyper above the planet and was immediately greeted by a massive swarm of insecticidal creatures the size of a human. There was only one suitable atmospheric entry point and that was right in the middle of the swarm. The creatures threw themselves against the ship and spat some sort of acidic glob. Miktel cursed his ship's hyperspeed, having assumed that the RAVEN ship had the ability to follow, his sensors detected that the RAVEN ship was right behind him but was still traveling at about 3 lights.

He scrambled robotic interceptors while anti-aircraft turrets sent lasers and plasma at the swarming bug things. Some breaches were reported through the ship in unoccupied cargo compartments and some bugs were getting in through there but the mech marines were pushing them back through the hole and firing out of the new holes.

Sure enough he brought up the ship's shields once they were done charging, the hyperjump had forced them to go down so now the bugs were attacking the ship and hitting the shield. Unfortunately, his shields began to go down fast under the sheer number of them. His droids began running low on their supplies of plasma and they began taking individual shots at the creature's weak points while the auto-laser batteries began spitting out a hailstorm of red light. "Hey! You listening? I need help here!"

Sexco had been following behind miktel, and had not suffered the same fate. He was lucky because of miktel's ship being the center of the insecticidal attack, and he moved to support him. Once coming in closer the creatures would move to attack his ship, and well that was going to be a problem. He quickly unlocked his hidden weapons, as it started to fight deadly lasers. A four barrel laser cannon was a great tool to have, as it mauled through the creatures swarm. He actived his shielding system, as he was moving to cover the other ship. "We have to get closer to the ground, were sitting ducks out here. The supply base is about 40 clicks from here, we have to get closer to be in the safe zone" He didn't stop his weapons fire, as he hoped it wasn't too late for miktel.
