Clearing up misunderstandings

Dante had been allowed back into the station, and he quickly wanted to see if dos was okay. He hated breaking promises but that witch named lenina had interfered with his plans. He needed to tell dos to stay clear of trouble, and be careful of what might happen. Hopefully she was in her room so they can talk in private, he didn't want any problems. He also wanted to insure that Thomas was okay as well, he wanted to help him even if he thinks he was some sort of boggyman. Dante would finally find the door leading to her room, and pressed the door bell. He was getting a strange feeling, and it was new to him. Of course he had to cast it aside for now, and took off his mask, as his grey eyes would be clear like glass.

Dostaria gazed at her reflection in the small mirror directly behind the bathroom sink. She stood leaning against the imitation porcelain sink, fingers lightly touching the rim. Her eyes looked troubled, as they always did. The tan she'd gotten on Weavon was fading too. Not that she cared, better to erase everything from that planet from her memory. Nightmares from her captivity there still loomed over her like vengeful spirits every time she closed her eyes to sleep. Maybe that's why other than troubled, her eyes looked tired. She grabbed a hunk of her spiraling blue locs and scrunched it in her hand. Looking down at her near waist length hair, she concluded that she needed a haircut.

The doorbell emitted a soft "Ping!" the moment Dante's finger touched the button, causing Dostaria to turn from her reflection and stare for a moment at the sliding metal slab. She walked towards it soundlessly, having no idea who it could be. She slid her hand over a blue touch pad adjacent to the door. "Yes?" She said without flicking her eyes up at the visitor. Immediately, her eyes widened and she stepped backwards, gawking at the boy before her. "D-dante?" She stuttered.

Dante gave one of his charming smiles, as the door opened up. Of course he looked over dos and knew that she still looked as good as he remembered. She seemed to be in shock, as she started to step back. He took his cue, and walked into the room as he closed the door behind himself. He took off his hood, and let his raven hair flow as he started to twirl it out of nervousness. What if she hated him, or didn't care about him being here. He would understand for not being there, after his promise and quickly wanted to make up for that. "Hey Dostaria long time no see"

He didn't want to scare her, so he walked over to her until he was about a few inches away. His grey eye's would look for her's in a calm and loving way. "Please forgive me for what I did, I want to make it up to you anyway I can" He said with a sad voice, unlike his normal self. This meant he was really sorry, and this didn't happen often.

"Hello, Dante," She interjected before he could finish. She stared straight into his eyes, unblinking. "It's okay, I understand what happened." She remembered walking down the hall that night and being pinned to the wall by a stranger. She had never learned his name, only that he worked for Dante. The locket that was given to her that night was around her neck at this very moment, the coolness of the star-shaped pendant having been lost to her own body heat.

She'd thought about using it ever since she got it, but something kept her from it. Lenina, mostly.

Dante would sigh with relief as he liked staring into her eye's. It calm him down, and he started to collect himself. Then he metally wanted to beat the hell out of viral, for pinning his women to a wall. Did he just say that, he hated having this side of himself. He did something unlike himself, and pulled Dostaria into a hug. " At least your safe, I will be there for you from here on out " He whispered into her ear as he ran his hands through her hair. He hated to look into her mind, but he knew that her memories were haunting her again, and he needed to be there for her.

She wrapped her arms gingerly around his back, careful not to hug him too closely. She scolded herself mentally. What she had said to herself only a few nights ago was biting her in the back right now. Her eyes were wide like a deer's, her cheeks were hot when he whispered into her ear, and she found herself staring at him. "Thank you, Dante," she said in a strangely business-like manner. Her voice faltered a little at 'Dante' though, making her stutter the 'D'.

Dante would feel the warmth of her body, as he hugged her. It was relaxing and soothing for him, as he didn't want to let go. After a few more seconds he would start to release his grasp on her, and would notice she was staring at him. "Thank you, Dante" He would listen to those words as he felt something tug at his body. Another strange feeling, and it was upsetting him to no end. He would look over her room as it seemed pretty well off, as he strolled over to the bed. He started to take off his cloak, and rolled up his sleeves as he sat on the bed. He moved over to the side abit to give her some space if she wanted to sit down, and would look over her again. "So how have you been, I hope there wasn't any problems and how is Thomas doing by the way " Dante said in a cheerful and peppy voice trying to cheer her up, and maybe she would talk to him hopefully.
