"Go to sleep..." called Lucas. Though he didn't need a medium to cast his abilities, he found it more effective that way, besides it made him feel more in control of his abilities. The girl that had just burst from nowhere seemed to have a better handle on her powers, as she almost instantly withered away the vines. He couldn't put her face to a name, and so he gave up trying, he was already back to concentrating on the boy. Straining with his face contorted in a look of stress. The moment he did so, Xinorrie would be affected by a sudden wave of unconsciousness. Hopefully reducing him to a snoring hump on the ground. He wished he had enough concentration to knock him under for a few years for what he had done to the people around him. All of them strewn out along the ground. Lucas didn't have a sense of justice, but he knew Xinorrie would deserve a couple years as a vegetable.
But at the present time, Yin was more important. She looked... Well, she looked strange. The vines that had wrapped around her convulsing body were now completely still. A finger of rose plunged down into her throat. Was she dead? Why did he care? It wasn't like Lucas knew her at all. In fact, she was a stranger he had only spoke to once. And that was a few minutes ago. Lucas walked towards the girl. He wasn't sure he could do anything, and for all he knew the girl was still conscious, in constant pain. A sad, pathetic death. One that he sure didn't want. The sooner that freak Xinorrie was killed the better, and hopefully, he'd remain asleep. At least for a few hours until he could get this straightened out. "She's dead." he murmured, no emotion but surprise in his voice.
