Evoknight Hunt for Humans - Page 2 Empty

Caleb felt useless at every turn. When spaceships came to attack, he couldn't do anything. When the ships lights turned out and Kenji turned them back on, he couldn't do anything. He was all in all a waste of space right now. Just the Tag-A-Long kid and not the hero. What a waste. The ship flew down towards the planet, like a meteorite dragged from the stars. Except this spaceship was near as magical as a shooting star. Now he knew what it felt to be one of those stars. The sheer momentum of the craft carried him backward, the sudden change from artificial gravity to real gravity made his head start spinning, and to catch his balance from falling over or being thrown of his feet to the back of the ship, he clutched a wall with this robotic arm, holding onto it with all of his might. The ship crackled and burned with all of the friction between the ship and the atmosphere. He looked at the flames that flickered across the windshield and frowned. They were going to burn alive in here. He knew it.

And then, the ship leveled out, while this wouldn't be a very big deal from an outside view, Caleb felt like he had just been slammed into a wall of concrete at top speed. His grip on the wall broke and he fell against the cool floor, groaning at the odd feeling. Space Lag? He sat up, getting to his knees with his head in the clouds, the dizziness that affected him must not have affected Alice at all as she seemed use to this changing of pressure. Probably has something to do with her power. he rolled his eyes at the thought. Some people won more in the super power lottery, while others got sucky powers like superspeed. He turned and looked at Kenji, wondering how he had fared besides the usual, he looked like he was hooked to one huge generator, forced to supply it with energy, and it seemed to hurt him. Pretty bad. Though Caleb wasn't necessarily feeling bad for him, he didn't even deserve his pity. The guy was a huge jerk, no matter how much he did for him.

Perking his attention was Alice's voice, the way it seemed like she was talking to her imaginary friend told him that she wasn't really paying attention to them. But Caleb was still befuddled by her insane idea. "Destroy a whole fleet?" squeaked Caleb, surely Alice couldn't really believe their tiny craft that was barely even big enough to walk around in, could take a fleet of ships that seemed to have them cornered with every turn. "No-no-no!" he said quickly, shaking his head with a 'tut-tut-tut'. "You're thinking way too big." he continued gesturing with his hands "Escape is the right thing to do. Go fast. If we find Lobo and the others, we could slip away from the planet, this is a rescue, not a counter attack." He knew that normally he would dare to engage in some insane idea about being a hero and fighting against the fleet with all he had. But even a hero knew when to cut his losses and get the heck out of there. He just hoped Alice knew as well, surely her fatal flaw wouldn't be hubris. And surely he wouldn't find out about it now of all times, where life and death were divided by a line that was paper thin.

Zyocas sighed. They escaped. But no matter. They were going to die later, than sooner. But he didn't understand how they survived for so long. Most enemies that he faced would've died in quarter of the time that that small strikecraft held out. Actually, it was more than just interesting. It was fascinting. "Interesting," he said simply and his lieutenants heard him. They were wide eyed. Their commander never said interesting. 'No matter. That little strikecraft managed to hold off the invasion for a while, but no more. Launch all drones and decimate any and all resistance. If humans are found, use the Hagar Device on them," he ordered.

Hagar Device was a device created by the Evoknight scientists by studying some of the humans that had managed to form powers on Earth, not Sigma. Zyocas didn't know how exactly they worked but he knew that the device negated the human's powers and their products if they were within the device's radius. That meant that the humans will surely fall like their precedors.

"Fire," he said and his command ship drew in energy from the atmosphere. The space began to distort and twist. And then, it shot out, pierced the atmosphere and hit the Cooperino Island, destryoing the structures aboveground.

Kenji had no hope at all to keep his traction during the the burst through the atmosphere. He was thrown violently into the back of the ship. The only way he kept the ship in the air was with luck, because the engine wires were still touching his arm. He was pinned down, and felt like he was being torn out of his skin. With his ear touching the wall, all he could hear was the deafening sound of burning metal. Then, just as suddenly as it started, the momentum stopped. Kenji let out a small yell of surprise when he was hurled into the back of Alice's chair like a dodgeball thrown by a baseball pitcher. He probably would have broken his neck had he not altered some of his kinetic energy to potential. Kenji groaned as he tried to stand back up. He saw a small glimpse of sky outside the window...but why was there a green blotch? He quickly realized that they were actually looking at an ocean and an island. The Legacy was heading straight down, and without engine power, it was just gliding. Kenji knew he had to get back, and fast. Then he felt the ship swooping upward, and he hardly at time so swear before he slid to the back of the ship again. He braced himself and slammed into the back wall, then propped himself up and snatched the engine's wires again. He wasn't going to die, not yet.

The ship seemed to glide just fine, but Kenji sent power through the wires anyway. He could feel the electricity coursing through his veins. That wasn't exactly normal. Neither was wavering vision. But still, they were away from those freakin Evoknights. He put the wires in his right hand and turned around so he could see out the front window. He felt something rise in his throat. Was it...

Kenji started to chuckle, then it turned into a small bout of complete laughter. The pain instantly vanished. When he finally stopped, he was grinning widely. "Idiot Evoknights! They can never beat us!" He started glaring, but the smile never faded. "When they come down from space..." Kenji raised his arms and pawnched one hand into the palm of the other. "...We're gonna kick their golden asses right back to their filthy planet!" He had no idea where this burst of confidence had come from, but it felt good. He felt alive.

The Ewar frigate that had just recently used EMP on the strikecraft tilted about 180 degrees and headed back towards the planet. The installations on the islands were probably busted by now, so it used its afterburner. Its speed rose with every second with the afterburner on and dove its nose into the planet's atmosphere with thousands of other drones, fighters, and small frigates. Once they broke the atmosphere, they turned towards the island, they began launching the missiles. The drones and fighters raced on, auto targeting and destroying anything that got in their way.

While the battle broke out on the planet's surface, Zyocas remained in space with majority of his navy. They were forming a siege formation around the likely exits of the planet and began launch and fire their missiles and lasers as well on the Cooperio Island. Unfortunately, most of them were weakened by the atmosphere's dampening effect but they were still strong enough to kill when they hit the ground or the water.

“A girl can dream, can’t she?” Alice asked, eyes only flickering to Caleb for a split second before focusing forward again. But they didn’t stay there for long. She looked up to see if there was any Evoknight attacks coming, and was glad she decided to check. Drones, fighters, and small frigates were coming down and she grit her teeth. While Kenji’s words were very encouraging and he looked renewed with fighting spirit, she could tell there was still a slump in his body. An orange, hive-like thing came to life over the island. Thank the Lord. “Kenji, Caleb! Cooperio Island has a photon shield up. Just got to get in there and then we can get some help from your friends!” She pushed for it, hoping to get in there before any of those ships got to them. She muttered, “Damn Evoknights.”

Kenji nodded. "Right, right." Photons...they sounded familiar, but he didn't know what they were. He grasped the wires in his palms once more and charged them. He wondered what the super-superhumans were like. If Alice was here and not there...were they practically invincible? But he thought back to what Caleb had said. Lobo was there. Had she grown ultra-powerful since he had left? He didn't even know how long he had been gone. Or were they considered supers because of their power? If he hadn't been kidnapped, would he have been sent to Varsia? A thousand questions swirled around in Kenji's head, all wanting answers. He tried to filter them out and focus on the current situation. Those questions would be answered later. "Yo, Alice, is there any way I can see behind us or something?" There wasn't a monitor he could easily see, but who knows, maybe some HDTV screen would flip out of the wall and give him a nice clear view of what was going on behind them. Maybe a backwards-facing gun too. ...Or not. Kenji was still confident that these Evoknights would be oliterated. Decimated. Get their asses served back to them on a silver platter. All Kenji needed was a nice spot on the ground...

"Sir, they put up a photon shield!" Zyocas's lietenant reported with a growl. Zyocas himself, hwoever, only groaned. "Humans were so much so easier than this... Order all ships and drones to change weapon to plasma and projectile. I repeat, plasma and projectile!" he shouted and the lietenant repeated it to the Evoknight Command Server. The Evoknights grunted and changed them as ordered. "Sir!" the lietenant shouted again/ "WHAT?!" Zyocas, already pissed off, asked angrily. "The humans that we shot down are heading towards the island where the human presence is biggest!" Zyocas sighed. Suddenly, all his zeal for human death wasn't that high. "Have the Ewar drones continously fire their EMP. Make sure that strikecraft is in the aqueous! If I hear one more thing about them, I'm gonna personally kill someone!"

The Ewar drones were something that the fleet often used: a versatile craft that could easily outrun or dodge missiles, lasers, and projectile, and yet it was big enough to equip a EM equipment to sever the enemy's comm and mobility. There were exactly twenty of them in the first wave of the drones, all no bigger than the cockpit of a fighter. They swept in, firing EMP at the strikecraft where the three humans were in. One of them, however, was a prototype sentient AI. It scanned what was going on around the strikecraft. With the continous EMP in action, the strikecraft was falling towards the water again. So the drone ... helped it by launching a series of EMP scramblers at its comrades. The scrambler began to mess up with the command code of the drones and some of them, five to be exact, switched off, falling to the blue ocean beneath. The some fo the other drone noticed what it was doing so it opened fire on it. The drone however, dodged all the projectiles aimed at it and began to escort the strikecraft, shooting at its former 'comrades' with its own guns. Then it sent a message to the strikecraft.

'I am a human.'

'A human brain to be exact. And I wish to help.'

Alice hit a button and par to Kenji's request, a holographic screen popped up by the controls, but he could easily see it from his spot. It showed the drones closing in on them. "Hey Kenji, I hope that helps you get those tailers off us." Just then more EMP started to make the Legacy start losing altitude. "This is just not my day," she muttered, getting aggrivated with the Evoknights for messing with her prized ship so much. And just then five drones fell into the water while weapon fire took out the rest of them. "What?" she thought out loud, wondering who her new best friend was. A lone drone pulled up near her ship and she prepared to fire at it. But then a voice came over her own intercom. She answered, a smile breaking out on her face, "You're human and that's all that matters. Just help us get to that island!"

The drone sent a " Glad to help " as a message and then moved underneath the strikecraft to give it support with its thrusters. It pushed up against the strikecraft and boosted its thrusters to max. At first, there was no signs of the strikcraft stabilizing altitude. Slowly, however, the descent slowed down and the altitude was stabilized. Then the drone sent another message, looking at the waters right before its camera. "That was close..." it said as the strikecraft slowly gained altitude.

But just as he said that, its radar caught four more drones, all heavy combat drones, on their tail. "We got a problem," it said in its monotone voice and turned its gun and began firing. The projectiles flew and hit one of the heavily armored drones. Having found a stable lock, the drone continued to fire until one of the bullets pierced the armor and destroyed the drone. Then it sent EMP to the other drones before they fired on it. The EMP knocked off the rest but not before one of them fired a heavy artillery shot at its lower thruster, destroying it.

The altitude fell slightly but it was holding up. "That was too close..."

Evoknight Hunt for Humans - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Evoknight Hunt for Humans   Evoknight Hunt for Humans - Page 2 EmptyThu Feb 03, 2011 6:22 pm

Game glided out of the blanket of smoke, wispy trails of the eerie gas clinging onto his clothes. He swept his arm out in front of him, clearing the air, and coughing into his hand. He squinted, his eyes just beginning to adjust to the half-light of the islands doom. He felt like he had tangerines for eyes, but even with everything orange, he could still see the devastation around him. Game slowed down his hoverboard, letting it drop to the sand ground that was scorched black. He stood on the rotted precipice, peering down at the destruction and waste that lay before him. It was breathtaking, to witness what was once close to paradise, erased entirely. This isn't possible... And yet it was. He really should have ignored the impossible a long time ago, but that was neither here nor there. He looked to the stars, wondering what could possibly have caused this? This island was huge, and yet it was now leveled. Game shook his head, slamming his palm into his face. Stop being so awestruck, you've done much bigger things than blowing up a deserted island.

The island looked like God had finally found another punching bag and unloaded fist after fist into the surface. Craters that shattered the island were placed unevenly around him. He channeled his powers through his feet and into the ground, he was glad for the completely underground base that provided a negative magnetic pulse for him to ride on. It would be exceptionally bad if there were none at all, he'd have to walk all of this way, but now he floated, more elegantly than any bird, or more like a raptor since he had his target in his line of sight. In front of him, cutting through the air was a spaceship, a small fighter, and a little bit behind it was what looked like a drone. Which one to kill first...? Really they were both problematic, but he should at least make sure he wasn't killing someone who was trying to assist. They didn't appear to be firing at him, so maybe they were here to help. Or kill him. The easiest way to decide was to hack into their systems, simple since most spaceships didn't have a firewall.

The moment he entered the leading crafts system, he realized how crippled it was. A headache hit him like a flying anvil, periodically hitting him as he felt the EMP's surging through the craft, and the strange and somewhat stale energy being used to continually reboot it. He held the side of his head, feeling his hoverboard unsteady itself. Jesus... What is wrong with this thing!? This weakened machine was definitely on its last legs, and hacking into the communications he heard a girls voice. Without further ado, he pulled out of the ship, careening out of its path and instead stretching out both of his hands to the drone, instantly, he clenched its fists, forming a magnetic sphere within the craft, most likely causing it to collapse in on itself, turning into a flightless ball of steel. Game drifted along the tail side of the craft, letting it fly past him, but not before he entered the system and left a single message, his holographic form sprouting from the control panel. "That was badass, right?" Now time to do with the rest of these soulless shells.

"You guys, stand back, I got this." He halted his hoverboard. There was a sharp crunching and bending as his hoverboard folded like an origami swan, before turning into a steel square platform. He rolled up the over-sized sleeves of his jacket, the runt of a boy smirked, feeling more smug than ever. He was the lord of the sky, he could destroy any oncoming craft with a glance. This would be a piece of cake, to be any easier they would have to destroy themselves. He was definitely in his element now. He slid his hand across his hair, streaking it back. The white streak on the side of his head was glowing in the orange light. "A thousand drones armed with missles, lasers, and cannons? Too easy. They better watch out, 'cause it's Game time." he shouted to the air, waiting for the black gnats that were shooting towards him. His holographic form disappeared as suddenly as it had manifested in the Legacy.

PostSubject: Re: Evoknight Hunt for Humans   Evoknight Hunt for Humans - Page 2 EmptyFri Feb 04, 2011 4:41 pm

Alice looked at the holographic screen displaying the back view and gritted her teeth. A drone was right there, about to unload on them. But before her own eyes it crumpled up into a ball and fell out of sight. What?! But just then another hologram popped up on her controls. “That was badass, right?” the smug little hologram of a human boy said. A broad smile broke out on her face as she diverted all power into extending the landing gear and setting the Legacy down nice and smooth, more or less. As soon as it touched down she pumped a fist into the air, full-heartedly shouting, “We made it!” She went to open the hatch door but there was something blocking its way. Oh yeah! The drone with the human brain or whatnot! Without it they would have never made it to Cooperio Island. “We just got to sit back and watch for now,” she told to Kenji and Caleb as she stood up and stretched the tense feeling in her muscles out.

---

Following behind the skunk-haired boy was a blonde French girl riding her own hoverboard. Cheryl stopped to take a look around the devastated island. Craters were pounded into the surface and not a single speck of life remained. She shook her head at the thought of how it looked like the moon used to, with its multitude of impact zones. She zoomed over to the blackened spot Game had been standing before hovering off into the sky. Show off, she thought as she fell through the demanifesting object. Her burgundy eyes looked up at the approaching crafts. The lead one was the ship with the three humans and then there was a drone following behind it. She cocked her head slightly as she looked at the human ship. There was something underneath it that wasn’t there earlier according to the scans. But she didn’t linger on that too long for a crumpled metal ball fell to the ground near her. She sighed and looked up at Game. Again, show off. But she was about to become one, too, wasn’t she? No time to be a complaining hypocrite. Blocking everything else out, she focused on the army above. The 3D model flew up above to the army that was still there, a menacing threat looming over them. Drawing in a deep breath, she was about to manifest obliteration all around one of the ships, but instead a different power filled her. Inside the ship, an object appeared and began to quickly grow. The star burned with heat and radiation, although it wasn’t even close to full sized. Only about as big as the Legacy that had only flew by. But it was still big enough to cause damage. Yeah, any star inside a ship is going to cause some damage.

Cheryl placed her fingers to her temples as her head started to ache a little. Though she ignored the pain as she looked up at the sky. The light of the sun washed over them and she stared up in awe at it. She did that. That’s probably the coolest thing she’s ever done. “Game!” she called, pointing up at the created star, “That’s seriously badass.”

The star that Cheryl created was big, alright. And it began to absorb and burn Evoknights drones and small ships. All of them didn't see how it came to form and thus could not dodge. They suffered a heavy loss before they encircled the island, a signal for their commander. Up in the orbit, Zyocas saw on his screen that his troops had failed to penetrate the shield of the island but had it surrounded. "Fire the Lances," he ordered. His lieutenant obeyed and repeated the order. All battleships in the vicinity, about half of his fleet, turned their port towards the island and launched ... spears. Really big spears. Some of them big as twin towers. They broke through the atmosphere with ease and struck the ground again and again. The ships in the orbit didn't stop their firing, they just continued to do it. But these spears were actually bombs.

So it totally made sense when one of the smaller spears came down and had the star Cheryl created go into nova along with it.

--------
The rogue drone that had helped Cheryl and her frineds quickly flew away from the incoming explosion. Its computer calculated that the nova would definitely consume large part of the island and it being near it didn't help. On the way, it grabbed Game and several others with its forearm and flew away at the max speed.

Evoknight Hunt for Humans - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Evoknight Hunt for Humans   Evoknight Hunt for Humans - Page 2 EmptyMon Feb 07, 2011 7:02 pm

Kenji turned to look at the screen that had poofed up for him. "Nice." He muttered, looking at the huge fleet of Evos right on Varsia's doorstep. He couldn't help but frown as The Legacy neared Cooperio Island. It was a flattened, blackened mess. He shuddered at the thought of seeing Sigma like this, with its infinitely-tall buildings incinerated to ashes. Maybe the stars would actually be visible without all the electronic lights flashing around. He watched in silence as some weird-looking raven-haired kid appeared on Alice's controls and gloated about being badass. Looking at the boy, Kenji got a strange urge to prank him. Three words: Mousetrap behind door.

He nearly lost his balance as Alice began to land the craft. When it was still several feet in the air, Kenji took his hands off the wires, effectively stopping all power to the craft and letting it flop rather violently onto the ground. The force of the land hurled Kenji into the wall, but that didn't knock the smug grin off his face. Nor did it stop his snicker. "I knew we'd make it." He muttered, even if it was just blind bravado.

Kenji cracked his knuckles to Alice's comment. "I'm not the type to sit back and watch. I'll be outside, kickin' ass and takin' names. Or...blasting. Same difference... thing..." Kenji half-stumbled over the door and jabbed the button to open it. "I'll see you guys later." He flashed another grin and stepped out of the Legacy. The Evos weren't on the ground yet, so the ass-kickin' would have to wait. But that was fine. He was running on miniscule and almost non-existant reserves of energy. He watched, contrary to what he had just said, as some chick flew by and did the unthinkable. She created a whole freakin' star within the alien fleet by just thinking. Holy shit. Now he knew why the supers had been sent here...

Then, the unthinkable was suddenly beaten. A spear made the star explode into oblivion, and it was followed by dozens of more spears that pierced right through the Photon Shield. "Fuck..." He muttered, then saw the drone that had helped them swoop by and pick up the girl and boy that had helped them and carried them off somewhere. "Fuck!" Kenji said louder, as he, Alice, and Caleb were left behind. Well, Caleb could blitz off somewhere. But what about he and- well, Alice could blitz off somewhere too. Kenji had a slight moment of panic before he realized what to do.

He had just used up everything. All the power he had, gone. So he could absorb that massive amount of energy all over again. Kenji stared at the huge orange fiery shockwave hurtling toward him and the island. He unfurled the fists he didn't notice were clenched and raised his arms toward the shockwave. SHIT! I can do this. His heart flet like it was about to pound right out of his chest. God, this was crazy.

Before he knew it, the explosion of fire engulfed the island. The shockwave normally would have obliterated a human, and most likely the Legacy; but instead Kenji halted and absorbed it completely, The force of the nova blasted Kenji nearly a foot into the ground, but he stayed standing. "Sh-" he started, but the breath was knocked out of him as a wall of fire slammed into the island. The exploded star incinerated everything it touched, right up until it reached him. The hellish hurricane was bent and contorted as it was absorbed. Kenji shouted in pain as the fire scorched his skin and continued through, feeling like it was burning the inside of him. Every breath seared his lungs, and the more fire absorbed, the more heat coursed through his veins. But none of his shouts could be heard over the roaring of fiery maelstrom. Not even by Kenji himself. It felt like his blood was going to explode out of every single vein. He lost all control. He didn't even know what he was doing anymore. The fire was blinding and deafening. But he continued to absorb it all, until there was nothing left of the dead star except a miniscule heat haze. Kenji stood among the aftermath, the tatters of his slave shirt now completely gone, it's particles smaller than dust.

Kenji sank to his knees. The pain was unbearable, but he didn't make a sound. This was something he could not endure. Screw storing the power. Apparently, he had a limit. "Ffffff..." He couldn't stop shaking. And every twitch uncontrollably released kinetic energy. Every motion was overexaggerated and fast. He fought for self control, raising his hands once more, facing the palm toward...

That's when Kenji noticed it. His hands, both of them...didn't exist. His left arm had been incinerated almost to the elbow, with his right arm burned just pst his wrist. "Wha-what the fuck!?" He barely managed to stutter the sentence, and unintentionally higher-pitched than usual. What could he do without his arms? He was useless, completely useless. And his chest still felt like exploding. God, he should have just run. Run like hell. More pain suddenly stabbed through his arms. Or what were left of them. He nearly screamed again as his burnt flesh somehow disintegrated into nothing, until fresh blood was visible for a split second. Then it was covered up once more by new flesh, which started to form as if it was it was being pulled out from under an invisible blanket. The bones came first, followed by muscle and finally by the skin. Kenji watched in awe. His arms and, though he didn't notice it was gone, his left knee were completely reformed. He had two powers!? Since when the hell could he do that? Kenji moved each individual finger, checking to make sure he was fine. His new hands didn't have the scars from The Legacy's wires, too.

A loud explosion to his right shook him out of his thoughts. An animal awoke inside Kenji, remembering all the bastardly things the Evoknights had done to him during his life. All the other humans were in a different world. It was just him and the Evos. The internal pain had subsided a bit, but Kenji decided right then and there to let it all out again. No Evo was leaving Varsia. He had made the decision, and he raised his arm once more. The ships that encircled Cooperio Island would pay dearly. Kenji snapped his fingers just once, and a huge stream of nuclear energy exploded out of a single finger, piercing through the ship and shearing it violently in half. He continued blasting the Evoknight ships, barreling explosions of energy into them and even going so far as to fire blasts into space and at the incoming spears.

When the ships that encircled Cooperio had finally been obliterated, incinerated, or destroyed by other means, Kenji lowered his arms. He breathed heavily. Though there was no more blinding light, he was still practically blinded by a headache. "God," he muttered. "When will it end..."

Evoknight Hunt for Humans - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Evoknight Hunt for Humans   Evoknight Hunt for Humans - Page 2 EmptyMon Feb 07, 2011 7:36 pm

Game looked at his finger nails, yawning with obvious boredom. "A star, Cheryl... Really?" Holy shit! That was good... Okay, Game... Now to beat that. Game furrowed his brow, putting his hand on his chin, and studying his surroundings carefully. "I admit, that was not too shabby, and even if I don't understand everything that you just did, I'm still going to top it. We're in my element now, honey. Spaceships are what I demolish best." he said with a grin, and then it happened. Descending from the stars in an almost implausible fashion. The primitive falling arrows were asteroids streaking through the sky, piercing the Photon barrier. "Stand back." he growled, wishing he had some cool shades to put on. He knew that the situation was dire, this was a battle, if he didn't try hard enough to defend this base it would be up in flames. But laughter was the best medicine in this. So what if he and Cheryl played around a little bit during this fire fight, it kept the exhaustion he felt from getting to him.

He felt the hum of some type of engine coming up on his blind side, he twisted around and immediately saw a rogue drone flying towards him, forearms extended like it was about to clothesline him, he stretched out his hand and smiled. The plan was simple develop two opposite magnetic fields inside of the machine that was just about to grab him, to evenly carve it in half. Game couldn't think of a way that the machine could avoid this contact, since he had pinpointed the exact part of the drone to hit, and it didn't seem to be veering away, besides, drones couldn't sense magnetic fields forming... Could they? He was so glad he was genre savvy. Activating the less used portion of his superpower, he would attempt to deactivate the droids engines, causing it to fall right out of the sky unless it some how restored power, and if it did it would still be torn apart.

Now for those spears. Game could see the oversized almost mammoth tall structures falling from the sky. He couldn't generate a magnetic field big enough to stop them all, they were just to big, if he even tried he would become exhausted, he knew it, he already felt the effects of fatigue washing over him, the sluggish movements, and the delayed responses. This was bad, he looked at Cheryl, but didn't open his mouth, he didn't want to ask for her help. He looked back towards the falling spears and spread his arms wide. He had to find some sort of way to destroy the spears, maybe if he could find a magnetic field inside of it, he could just break them apart. He focused on one of the spears, the closest one and felt a discarded object seemingly lodged inside. What was that, his disembodied consciousness surveyed this object, feeling the technology inside of it. A bomb. "They're fricken' explosives." He said in awe, though he knew he shouldn't be shocked by this at all. Of course the Evoknights would throw out all they had at them, even if it was something as preposterous as explosive spears.

With a strained look on his face he aimed to deactivate the bomb, reducing it to excess metal. The spear stuck into the ground, a dud in the mud. Heh... That rhymed. Game jumped from spear to spear, straining his mind and all the mental power that he had to deactivate the weaponry. The huge shafts of metal stuck into the ground and remained there. Leaning sentinels, though they were more than likely useless and ineffective in guarding this island. Game felt his head, a burning headache scarring him. It felt like someone had put an anvil on a pendulum and sent it swinging at him, over and over again, knocking him in the brain. The magnetic pulse on his platform decreased, or... As most would say, ceased to exist. Game felt like a battery that had been used up. He fought helpless as gravity overtook him and his floating board. Game fell from the sky, barely bigger than an ant in comparison to the sky piercing columns that he passed as he fell. The air whipped through him faster than he could react as he tossed and turned in the air, he felt so tired...

"LOBO!" Caleb screeched, like a four year old whose mother had just walked in the door, instantly he was off. His molecules vibrated for less than a milisecond, shaking the Legacy as he disappeared. His feet pounded against the ground as he raced through the dirt and barren ground of Cooperio Island. He couldn't see anything as he ran, and the sounds were even more distant. His excitement had led him into running as fast he could, he felt free. Finally free from so many things. Free from Alice. Free from Kenji. But not completely free. He was being tossed from danger to danger day after day. First it was the Evoknights on Sigma. Then it was the arrival on Weavon and then it was the horrifying flight here amid thousands of laser blasts and free falls. He felt like he was going to vomit at every turn. But now he was on the ground, his feet pounding across the soft and tenderized ground. Lobo was so close.

PostSubject: Re: Evoknight Hunt for Humans   Evoknight Hunt for Humans - Page 2 EmptyWed Feb 09, 2011 6:57 am

Out of focus, she heard Caleb yell and then shake her ship as he ran off. Alice brushed some of her dirty blonde hair out of her eyes for they were blocking her view of the star that was formed in the sky above. Her golden eyes ached from the close light radiating from it and looked down at the ground. But the heat and light suddenly intensified so she looked up. The sight instinctively made her jump back into the Legacy. That star just exploded. The light and heat grew and she shielded her sensitive eyes with her arms. Her strong sense of touch could feel the heat growing and getting closer. Oh we’re dead, we’re so dead! And then it started to diminish. Astonished, she looked outside the hatch, only to flinch back at the brightness of it all. There was one thing she could make out, Kenji seeming to absorb it all. It was only a matter of seconds until it was all gone. She took a step outside and her eyes found the other human. Or, what was left of him. He was halfway armless here, handless there, and missing one of his knees. But then, just like that, he started to get reconfigured. “That’s awesome,” she muttered in awe as she walked over to him. Though an explosion rocked the already pummeled island and the two humans looked at the same Evoknight ship. Alice glared at it while Kenji simply snapped. Snapped? What’s so speci- All thoughts ceased when a stream of energy burst from his finger and seared the ship in half. Alice had to leap back so she didn’t get hit by any of his angry attacks of revenge. Finally he stopped, but only when all the ships around the island were gone, along with those exploding spears. She went back over to him after she made sure he wasn’t about to blast something again. Smiling, she held out a fist in the air towards him. “That was cool.”

---

A little competition to brighten anyone’s day. Priceless. “Well, let’s see what you got then, hmm?” Except it wasn’t spaceships that were being thrown at them now. It was. . .arrows. Big, metal arrows that almost had Cheryl laughing. What kept it stifled was the explosives mechanics hidden inside, detected by her manifested VIZOR glasses. She caught the floating boy look at her for a brief second, probably battling himself to ask for her help or not. Though before she could do a thing, one by one the explosive systems started to go offline. The first one impaled itself in the ground with a loud thunk. It sat there, too, doing no exploding because it was the first one to lose its explosive parts. Thanks Game, ruin all my fun. Giving a melodramatic sigh, she turned around to face the open water and a few advancing drones. She held her fist out, training her gaze on the closest drone. In a flash, her fingers spread wide. From inside the ship, an explosion of manifested obliteration burst out, completely destroying all traces of the Evoknight ship. The other drones scrambled, probably fearing that some missile was just launched. Nice try. The other three drones all suffered the same fate, though at the cost of a headache. Despite that, she smirked at her own handy work, turning back around to see if Game left anything for her. An explosion rocked the island, not too far from her. A slip in the crack. The cliff she was standing on started to crumble.

Merde! Her feet kicked into action and she practically treaded air to get off the falling ground. Was Game deliberately trying to kill her?! Squinted eyes glared up at the boy, who was no longer floating. Just a thing called falling. He was nothing but a shadow in the light of her created star. It also seemed like the explosive arrow pierced the boy and caused bright blood to erupt from his body. But Cheryl could feel what had just happened. That the spear stabbed her creation and caused it to go nova. But no time to think. The blonde rushed forward, feet carrying her on a race against death. He was falling, and fast. Height was on her side, yet it also was the enemy. Even if she caught him, the impact could very well still kill him. But that wasn’t the problem right now! She wasn’t going to make it! She pounded a foot on the ground, propelling her to Game. She felt his weight crash into her extended arms. The ground came up to meet them with exuberant glee. The liquid protection that she didn’t even realized she manifested quickly disappeared from him and her arms. Safe and sound, for about a heartbeat.

The nova wave was on them, intense heat and light. Yet, nothing was happening. Cheryl hung over Game, forming a protective cage around his body. The wave and all its heat and radiation curved around the two. It felt like some godly being’s hammer was brought down on her head over and over. Even though the French girl only had to keep it up for a second, it felt like time had suddenly ended. At her limit, a miracle happened. The nova explosion was sucked away and it was gone. She rolled onto the edge of untouched ground. They were sitting on a precarious spot, the intense heat digging a blackened trench around their little spot of land. It had a nice view of the fireworks provided though. She lifted her right hand, a fist with her thumb sticking towards the sky. Her head might feel like it’s about to end like the star, but a simple thank you to the human providing the show was in order. She chuckled—though it hurt her head to—as she watched Evoknight forces get decimated. “Game, you owe me big time.”

PostSubject: Re: Evoknight Hunt for Humans   Evoknight Hunt for Humans - Page 2 EmptyWed Feb 09, 2011 1:25 pm

The Evoknight fleet slowly died, but none of them major spaceships in siege of the planet, they had too strong of a shield to burn away. But it wasn't just the shield. In reality, the shield wasn't even receiving damage. Between the shield and the burning aprocalype was one device carried by a single drone: the Hagar Device. The device canceled out the power that the humans were producing. If they were near the humans themselves, their power would be curbed to the point where it was useless but they were in orbit and their effective radius only incircled the ship.

Zyocas nodded as he saw that the battleships were not being affected by the pwoer of the humans. He expected this much. He expected to lose half of his forces - when he was in the frontline invading Earth, he lost all of his squadron and so forth. He learned from the pain of that day. He then turned to his lietenant and ordered the the Hagar Spears be fired. Hagar Spears were what they were called: explosive spears that was composed of Hagar Crystals which produces the PSI of its own that cancels out the PSI that the humans produce. It was like positive being neutralized by negative. The lietenant tried to complain, the construction of one Hagar Spears each equaled to the cost of that of a cruiser. Zyocas just scoffed and gave the order himself.

The Hagar Spears were launched from each of the battleship sieging the island. They each fired one spear from their arsonal but it was enough to cause the ceasing of the nova created by Cheryl. All fifty of them bore through the atmosphere and onto the planet's surface.

And while all of this was happening, the drone that had its engine deactivated by Game slowly broke its armors down-in order to make its speed increase by reduing weight- and used reserve nanites to reactivate the engine. Then it turned on its speaker and turned to Game and Cheryl. "Can we get the hell out of here?!" it asked, eager to get out of there and live. It extended all of its arms out and waited for their answer. It had enough arms to hold all of the humans and more as long as their number didn't go over twenty, which it doubted.

Evoknight Hunt for Humans - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Evoknight Hunt for Humans   Evoknight Hunt for Humans - Page 2 EmptySun Feb 13, 2011 4:20 pm

Ronny stared in awe at Varsia's new landscape, burden forgotten. The once green, luscious land was now a destroyed mount of ash and fire. A blaze burned where trees and plants once stood, flickering towards the sun in a vain attempt to gain power. Compared to the land he saw before in the ship here, this was Hell. It was like an apocalypse of fire had tarnished the land while he was trapped safetly in the maze. Where could they go now? There was nothing they could do, it seemed like. It was either stay in the maze or step out into Varsia's oblivion. The maze seemed more welcoming than it had before. What had happened when they left? The time down in the maze had seemed long, but long enough for this to happen? Impossible! But something had happened, it was clear. Like a freak forext fire that seemed to engulf the entire planet. He almost missed what Lobo had said. Kenji? Was she delusional now? Kenji wasn't here, he was still in Sigma. Safe and sound while they were slaves the the elements.

They were doomed in this place.

Ronny squinted as small dots began to form in the sky. What are those...? The faint black things slowly enlarged as they pistoned through the air. Whatever they were, he had the faintest feeling that they weren't good as there were millions of them. With uncalculated speed or grace the unknown objects. He took a step back into the maze, the dots sizes still growing. It had occurred to him that whatever this was could have well been a meteor shower of some sort and this was the charred aftermath. It would explain the earlier hubub of the shaking maze. Hmphf, and look at all of them too! All those scientist calculating the odds of where a meteor would strike and how often, well look now!

And then suddenly, from nowhere, light that seemed to be from heaven shone brightly at his eyes. He squinted as his attention was soon caught up into this new phenominon. A pure white like the hottest sun and intense like burning magnesium. Beautiful and frightening at the same time. In the same eternal instant it was there the star was gone. Instead it became a mass of hyperactive flames shooting out at light speeds towards everything around it. The boom is created roared in his ears and shook the planet from its intensity. Even before it reached him at its mile high perch he could feel the heat. Bright colored flames rushed at him with intense power, over taking and burning whatever life was left miles before it got there. As quickly as possible Ronny pulled himself back into the cave. He turned his back to the wall and pressed himself against it, bracing for the onslaught of deadly fire. It took no time for the gust of flame to breach from the maze's opening, the intense speed sending wind that blew his hair around. The heat from the shooting flames burned from their closeness. He thought that if it lasted longer, then he would have been slowly burned away.

He didn't notice his eyes were shut tight until he felt the hot air suddenly leave and the roaring noise cease. Opening them, he saw nothing but the charred charred and blackened floor. He'd expected something more, like rock walls melting away or the planet being blown in half. Maybe it was time to count his blessings. Foolish enough, he bent around the corner taking a peak outside. Rather than being the aftermath of a forest fire, the landscaped had turned into nothing. It was as barren as a desert and black as coal. All life that could have been left was now gone. It was undeniable. The destruction of this move was definite and final. He was lucky to have lived. What this place had been was so different from what it was now. Coming here the first time, he wouldn't have been able to imagine it this way, not for millenia. What power had caused this? Or even more mysterious, what had taken it away?

In a place so empty, it was easy to spot something alive. Away from the opening of the maze and nearly out of sigh from the bad angle, a ship, broken in half, rested almost untouched by flames. Next to it a form lay, looking notingly pitiful. It took what a while for Ronny to realize that was actually a person. His mind flipped through images of all the people he'd seen, trying to match this one. He hardly had a clue, but in his mind he had an idea. Had Lobo lost it? Now, he wasn't sure. There was clearly someone out there, but was it someone of their small group? He couldn't be sure of that either. Ronny doubted it would be. He was sure everyone was still in the maze, but this person...

Ronny stepped out a small amount when he saw the person lift their hand. Suddenly from the small center a huge wave of energy burst out in a loud boom, blasting toward the sky with the same power as the last explosion. His eyes widened at the sight. Even as it ended Ronny still stared toward the sky. It was moments after that that particles of blackened metal and ash began to fall from the sky. Some large ones even fell from the sky. Clanging as they beat upon the ground. Ronny pulled his head in quickly when one large shard broke in through the door, crashing onto the floor and screeching to a stop, glames flickering on its sides, but failing to spread.

He sighed, taking in what he'd seen and what had happened. It was all confusing and sudden. He expected to come out into a forest, not a blasting zone.

"Lobo, I don't think we should go out there."

PostSubject: Re: Evoknight Hunt for Humans   Evoknight Hunt for Humans - Page 2 EmptyMon Feb 14, 2011 3:16 pm

Kenji twitched as pain jolted through his arms again. "When I woke up this morning, I didn't expect to get a brand new arm today." He wondered when he had gotten that power. He remembered all his cuts and bruises he had on Weavon. They were still there when he left that blasted hellish rock some called a planet. So he got it sometime aboard the Legacy, no doubt. Alice's ship had screwed him up even more than usual. But at least it saved him, more or less. "Alice..." He muttered, almost seriously, "Remind me to never fly with you ever again." He cracked his new knuckles. It felt good to be alive.

Kenji straightened up and stretched. His left arm still felt all funny, but the nearby sky was mostly clear except for debris, and that's all that mattered. So that was cool, eh? "I'm superfast, or superstrong, but I got my tricks." He bumped his fist on Alice's rock-solid hand. They made a pretty good team. "Speaking of superfast, where the hell is Caleb?" Kenji asked, frowning. Before he could think about the weird kid a moment longer, the sound of something piercing through the air started up once again. More spears? Did the Evoknights ever freakin learn? Kenji looked upward to see even more ships and spears, hovering in the sky menacingly like a hawk ready to catch its prey. And sure enough, more spears were being shot out of them.

"Whaddaya call a circle that's scorched black, burning like hell, and bloodied all over? Varsia, when I'm done with these bastards." Kenji opened his palm once more. Nuclear and thermal energy formed in the one hand, resulting in a fantastic firestorm of sparking energy. He then blasted it toward the closest spear. The energy spiraled at the spear like a comet, streaking across the sky. Suddenly, for what seemed like no reason, as the energy hurled closer to the spear, it aburptly disintegrated into nothing. It didn't even touch the spear. Kenji frowned. The energy had just vanished. "Crap energy." He muttered, then outstretched both his hands to his sides. He slammed his hands together like an overexaggerated clap, and huge electric shockwave exploded outward and toward the spears, which were getting so much closer every second. Hopefully the damn things would be fried to ashes. But once again, the energy just poofed into nothing as it closed in on the spears. "Goddammit!" The Evoknights had power-proof technology? They were fricken doomed.

Kenji turned around, unable to do anything more, and sprinted toward the closest cover he saw: the maze.

The drone saw Kenji run towards the maze and saw that the maze would provide a excellent cover while the spears were being hurled down. It quickly used a burst of its engine to fly over there and entered it. 'God, this is not working out well,' it 'thought' as it stopped near the entrance of the maze, hovering near the ceiling. "Let's go!" it shout to the others.

While the humans were on a frenzy/panic below, the Evoknights were well satisfied with the result their spears had achieved. They were driving the humans into their shell. After this, all they would have to do is to descend on to the planet and start to pick them out, one by one. Or perhaps a planetary explosion might be better. Zyocas considered the last suggestion in his mind for a long time before he came to a conclusion. He decided against it. After all, with the Hagar Crystals on the surface of the island which is heavily occupied with humans, it would only be a waste to do so, especially when humans can be either sold as experiments or slaves to financially back them up. Zyocas sighed. Yes, his fleet was interacting with the sentient matter creature and actually doing business with them. He did this because he wasn't the one who believed in dying without trying. Trying here being fixing the ships up and dying here being .... dying.

Zyocas spun his neck around and then cracked it a bit. He then began to think about what the humans will have to say when he and his fleet catches them, put them into a cage, and experiment on them. Of course, like all humans before them, they will certainly fight back and of course, it would be in vain most likely resulting in their death. No, that would not be fun. Maybe he should show them a video of what happened to one of the earlier humans that tried to resist. The one that went by the name of ... George. Yes, he still remember the George. He was a beast...

PostSubject: Re: Evoknight Hunt for Humans   Evoknight Hunt for Humans - Page 2 EmptyWed Feb 16, 2011 7:57 pm

"WHAT THE FUCK IS WITH THIS DRONE!?" screeched Game, stretching out his arm as it flew in front of him, the moment he did he would crush the metal into a spiked sphere. Following this, he would proceed to split the sphere like a coconut, slamming his hands together, he made a gesture that would flatten the two pieces of metal together into an even seven inch and sixteen foot long wall. He looked to the stars, his eyes twitching in rage, aiming his hand at one of the closest spears he would rocket the chunk of metal into it, setting off a premature explosion, that hopefully would start the chain reaction, decimating most of the threat. Of course this was all in theory, he had no way of knowing for sure if this would work, there were a thousand different possibilities. One being the weird thing that was blocking his powers from just deactivating the explosive spears or pushing them away. He rationalized his attack, but thinking of the momentum the metal wall must have, it would still hit the spear, even if it lacked the magnetic force driving at it.

Game panted, his heart pumping. He slumped forward, putting his hands on his thighs. He couldn't remember of time when he had felt like all of his powers were gone, even when he had flown across the galaxy to rescue Len, even then he had enough energy to do some phenomenal things, but now? He could barely levitate a nail, much less stop another attack. He looked to the stars again, sweat dripping down his face from the horrendous heat of the afternoon, and the stress that was both physical and mental. "We have to get out of here..." he muttered to no one, even though Cheryl was close by. He held his hand out, reaching towards his crumbled hovering board, and felt the steel vibrate as a magnetic pull called it to him, but the steel only shook on the ground before resting again. Game felt a huge nerve being pulled out of his brain. Defeated, he turned away from the forgotten piece of metal. He had to get away from the Evoknights, at least before the spears started raining down again, but even if they did, Kargagna's defenses would take care of them. For now at least. The turrets had already started to reboot after Game's 'tiny' hacking maneuver that he had used to open the doors.

Already the turrets were pumping purple bolts out of their nozzles, homing in on the spears that descended. With each hit a rain of mortar fell down, the heat from the intense flames. He moved faster now, regretting his hot blooded move to fight all of these monsters. He still felt the heat rising from a pit that had been forgotten four years ago. He had failed... Again. He always failed. Always failed. He had failed to save his parents. Failed to protect Robovant. And he had lost Adailia. He could imagine her being trapped on Sigma, all alone. The last she had heard from her had been their 'date' and that hadn't gone exactly as it had planned. Now stuck on an island that was basically turning into a hellhole of its own, he felt even more worry for her now. Did she even know the peril he was in? Did she really care? Why was he thinking about her of all the times!? He was about to die, and he was worried about some girl a million light years away. He needed to get his priorities straight, not girls, but survival. Of all things he needed to focus on survival most of all.

“What? Are you just a scared of what else I’ll pull you into?” the dirty blonde haired girl chuckled. Alice took a step back from Kenji, peering around the island. “He must have run off somewhere. Heh, that’s what his power is the best at, after all.” No sooner than she spit out those words did whining sound above them return. She tilted her head back to stare back up above, more spears descending on them. Laughing resounded in her as Kenji went back to work. Nice. She smiled up at the burst of energy about to make short work of a spear. It fell, though, when it disappeared. “What?” she muttered, eyes squinting. That just happened, right? To her right, Kenji seemed just a tad bit angry. An electric shockwave soon followed, and met the same fate. She instinctively took a step back. No way! Her golden gaze snapped down to the surface of the planet, muscles bunching in preparation to haul ass. She was off, well not like a bullet. More like a horse. She ran up to Kenji and scooped him up. Then she went off at top speed. Within three seconds they were inside and away from the door. She set the other human down with a quick, “Sorry about that.”

---

Cheryl ignored the drone and stared up at the new spears. Were the Evoknights stupid or something? This trick of theirs failed once already, why try again? She focused on one and was about to end it when a streak of energy shot straight for it. And failed. She sighed and manifested obliteration at it. At least she thought she did. A second passed and nothing. As she was about to try again, electricity reached for them and did nothing. Just stopped and disappeared. There was something definitely different about these ones. She tried to pull up a scan of their internal structure. Nothing. VIZOR just flashed “ERROR” as the status. Somehow. . .the Evoknights must have something that nullified their powers. And the island’s defenses weren’t taking care of all of them. “Well we’re dead,” she admitted through clenched teeth. She turned around and prepared to sprint for the maze entrance, it being her last chance. She stared at the far away entrance and scowled. That was farther than she remembered. Wasn’t the trip back supposed to feel shorter or something? The panting of someone else also made her remember about something. She wanted to start swearing worse than a sailor. “Game, we got to get back in the maze before we get blown up.” There’s no way I’m letting you die after just sticking my neck out to save you.

Lobo watched from Ronny's arms as Alice deposited Kenji near the entrance to the maze. "Kenji, over here!" She called against the sound of metal being ripped apart. The cacophony of destruction was too loud though, she doubted if he could hear her. God, she sounded like an obsessed fangirl the way she was screaming. He'd might have forgotten about her, but that was at the back of her mind. "Thanks for saving me Ronny." She'd hug him, but she didn't want to get any more of her blood on him than there already was. Besides, now wasn't the time for hugging. This was a war zone. Squirming, she got out of Ronny's hold and stumbled towards he long lost friend. Or more than friend if you could call it that, they'd only been on one date though, and that hadn't gone well. Either way she had to apologize, or make amends, or something for letting him get taken away. She had no idea where he'd been, but it couldn't have been pleasant. The ground felt good against her feet, being carried around like that wasn't really something she enjoyed.

Lobo made her way through heaps of upturned metal and land, dusty breezes stinging against her raw skin until finally she was a few feet away from him. This trip of only a few yards have felt so long, taken so much out of her. A feeling of uselessness swept through her. It almost hurt worse than her cut, which was still oozing blood. "Kenji," she repeated before a smile broke out onto her face.

Kenji grunted as Alice dropped his butt right onto the hard, rocky ground of the cave. It was so humiliating being carried like that, even if it did save his life. A booming explosion nearby almost knocked him flat on his face. He thought they'd be safe in here, but if a spear exploded near the entrance, the blast would be channeled by the caverns and everyone in here would be incinerated. And that's assuming shrapnel didn't fly in and cut people apart. He'd have to protect other people from the blasts. But there wasn't really anything he could do against metal shards whipping through the air faster than Kenji could even think.

He frowned at the statement he had said earlier. He'd probably have to rely on Alice to fly him out of this hellhole, assuming her ship survived the barrage. Suddenly he heard a somewhat familiar voice, but couldn't really focus on it. His eyes darted around the cave. Had Alice said something, and his hearing was just screwed up? His eyes soon focused on a different girl that appeared out of nowhere. She was covered in blood and had a black smudge on her face, but within an instant Kenji recognized her.

"Lobo!" He grinned and gave her a quick hug with one arm around her shoulder. "You okay?" God, she looked terrible, like something mauled her. But at least she was alive, that was all that mattered.

OOC: Since Katesen disappeared, and we need to keep stuff movin'... VARSIAN'S ASSEMBLE!

Sea foam fountained from the rumbling ocean, a shower of the wet crystals flew through the air, clinging to the sides of the newly arrived Protokin space crafts. The ships were dark blue, or purple, while others were the stagnant black and grey. They sliced the horizon with their spade like design, resembling arrows more than space crafts. They flew completely vertical, guns pumping out rounds of glowing green ammo. Drones were shot down in flaming clouds of smoke, sending shrapnel raining down into the water. The swarm of Varsian ship's continued their assault, spiraling through the skies and lancing other drones and spaceships. Weaving around each other as if it were a dance. The space crafts eliminated the threat of the drones in seconds, destroying the falling spears and letting the debris cloud the sky, or fall into the ocean. This destructive display ended almost immediately, the flares of bright lights and lasers halted suddenly, all of the ships returning into multiple V shaped flocks.

They circled the roiling ocean. The cut the sky with an eerie and high-pitched whistling noise that oddly resembled a dirge, the call of a leviathan from the depths of the ocean. Water rose upward, slowly, but not without power. A water fall of the green liquid flowed off of the coming beast. The circling buzzards surrounded the air craft as it rose from the ocean. It glistened as it rose, sea spray flying around as the jets activated, pushing the ship higher and higher into the sky. The smaller space crafts followed it. Around Cooperio Island, the same process was taking place, as the behemoth crafts ascended into the stars, leisurely readying their weapons for a full out assault on the Evoknight fleet. This was the Protokin Armada, or the small amount of ships that were prepped to ascend at this time. Numbering in the thousands, they flew into the stars, the endgame was here.
